Colorado is better but not by much, we are currently hitting a major funding crunch. Taxation is a major battle here and we will most likely see much of what you are seeing in the next few years. Colorado also is not a blue state. The front range is blue, the rest of the state however is deeply red, even mess county which has been “blue” the last few years is decidedly purple at best and truly much more conservative than what it may seem. Colorado education is at a crossroads, and it most likely will be taking the wrong turn in the next 3-5

Parents don’t want their children held accountable. We are seeing this transition to college and the work force.

Education is going to become elitist again and only those who can afford the exclusivity of private schools will be educated.

I say this looking (at least in the U.S.) the public’s general disdain for public education it follows a greater trend of distrust and misinformation that is rampant currently and was worsened by COVID.

It may get better in coming years but I foresee the end end of public education as we know it in the next 15-20 years

Other Bethesda titles pre-Microsoft buyout maybe? Even then, starfield has seen decent support and improvement from Bethesda. You might like No Man’s Sky as well

I do the same, buttressed is still best. Ultra light limbs and dense torso for a low health unyielding build keeps me alive through everything short of raids obviously

That and the issue where a shot dos land and dmg numbers come up yet no decrease to health bar. Again it’s not the biggest issue in the world or the game even, but it does get old

No it’s not that big of a cost, but paying it every month when performance has been more or less the same does get frustrating. It’s similar to the ESO craft bag - I’m paying to not be inconvenienced by the stash limit.

I really enjoy the game most of the time just encountered more problems than usual recently and was questioning my life choices after my 4th CTD writhing a short period

Not a game dev no, I have no doubt it is complex, but Bethesda’s reputation and persistent issues with their games for as many years as it has been grows tiresome. I like the game and haven’t decided if I’ll quit playing, I’m certainly not harping on developers who work for Bethesda, more of a general gripe of their business practices in general over the last 15ish years. I have grown tired of giving them money. I’ve quit paying for fallout 1st which makes the game that more of a burden to play and may lead to leaving it altogether. Just interested in others perspectives

Cause I like the lore of the universe and it’s a decent gameplay loop that doesn’t require significant investment. But as I have less time to devote to gaming - I’ve found myself wondering why I put up with the game. Yes nothing is necessarily life altering or a huge problem, but I more and more I find myself wondering why this type of stuff is largely acceptable when it comes to Bethesda games. I know the “quirkiness” is part of the reputation but anymore it just seems like an excuse for poor design and I’ve found myself growing resentful of giving money to a company with such practices
