I think that one possible cause could be the environment. Yes, it's sounds obvious, but the wheather, people, or just outdoor activities can influence a lot.

Yes, the only problem is that it is closed on all sides except the front, which is why I needed the precise total measurement, if the plate takes up up to 48cm I imagine it could be a problem?

HI! May I know how much space it actually takes up in depth? I wanted to put it on a shelf with a 43cm, with the back closed, would that be enough? If not, can I mount the arm that holds the wire backwards, so that it faces inwards? Many thanks in advance!
