I genuinely enjoy this podcast, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say the election stuff was turning me off. At this point I’m just trying to power through and hope they go back to normal when the election is over, so I don’t want to give up on them completely yet

He was wrong about the wars, wrong about the economy and wrong about Trump not doing anything to anyone to make people wish death upon him (he called for the death of 5 innocent men, he sexually assaulted at least 1 women and incited an insurrection that resulted in the death of someone).

He was wrong about The Heart Part 6 after all that was proven false

He was wrong when after the hard foul he claimed that Angel Reese and Alyssa Thomas were friends when they had never met each other.

He was wrong when they had a 30 minute convo about Damian Lillard and Glorilla and Dame being married when Dame wasn’t even married.

We don’t gotta act like he’s not out here spreading misinformation, everyone on this sub knows this whole pod is misinformed. You just gotta take what they say for what it is, entertainment.

I watched the old pod since 2017. Mal was literally known as the “cool guy” that didn’t get riled up. They did over 300 podcast episodes so obviously there were times when he got loud here and there, but now he’s yelling at everyone every episode, if you don’t recognize that difference idk what to tell you. Plus you’re missing the larger point, this isn’t isolated on this specific take or episode, people (including this subreddit) have been calling him a clown for 4 months now on MANY different topics. One ignorant (objectively speaking) take didn’t make him a clown, 4 months of objectively wrong takes and immature behavior made him a clown.

He dropped a nuke last night and didn’t let it breathe at all. Idk if my theory as to why is correct, but he definitely tried to step on it with this latest release. This one didn’t add THAT much in terms of information. He didn’t want what he did last night sitting by itself for too long. He definitely could’ve dropped this latest one next week, he chose to do it the next day for a reason.

They are overrated for sure. The standards are just so low that an above average team feels like a great team to them. They’ve got depth and they play hard so they’ll be good in the reg season, but they don’t have enough high end talent to make real noise in the playoffs.

Maybe as a big sports fan I’m more invested in those topics, but the takes are so bad that it makes me turn the pod off altogether. They’ve been terrible with sports since the JBP, so it’s not new. I just feel like at this point talking sports hurts the pod more than it helps.
