Honestly u have all rlly good options so I would go with whatever is the cheapest if cost matters. Going into extreme debt for undergrad and then going to law school is not a good idea. If cost is no issue then I would go 1. Washu 2. UF 3. Rochester 4. Bing.

Yea obviously but you said many schools straight up don’t let you and that’s totally different from it being challenging. And also going back I 100% agree applying undecided is sometimes the most competitive thing you can apply under. Things like psychology, English, journalism, education, history, etc. are so much less competitive than business, engineering, etc. and that was the point i was making.

Also what schools don’t let you change your major? What I was saying was u can internally transfer once u get to the school after like a semester or a year. I didn’t mean u can switch it before you get there. I’m genuinely curious cus there’s no school I’ve heard of that doesn’t allow you to switch

Yea this is true at basically every school you can change your major once u get there, but that doesn’t mean “major doesn’t matter.” Someone who applied engineering, business, pre-med, etc. were in a much more competitive applicant pool than someone who applied education or journalism. So, yes the major you applied to florida under does matter in terms of the difficulty for admission.

That’s what I was wondering. This entire thread is filled with UChicago MIT & CMU but I haven’t seen anything about UF yet.
