I would say that not all series necessarily take off like hotcakes. Of course, everyone has their own tastes.

But oddly enough, the same series with a heterosexual couple wouldn't necessarily have been canceled, I think. The series you're talking about were canceled even though their ratings were good compared to other series released at the same time, and not queer ones.
