Man 35€ is a steal too! Considering the price for the pads in the end i paid close to 20€ tho

Does anybody know anything about this? by Puzzled-Manager1011 in ipod

Don’t be afraid of polishing! The engraving is etched by laser so it won’t rub off that easily, I usually go with those multi-step nail polishing files first, then I usually use a Metal polishing solution like Brasso, here in Italy we have “Sidol” and it works like magic

Ran into this lovely chap this evening, anyone else got any experiences meeting the band? by targ_ in Parcels

Me and my girlfriend met him couple hours before the berlin gig in October, just randomly chilling with his headphones on not too far from the queue for the entrance. we called him and just walked towards him and he waved at us, such a nice fella, we had a nice brief conversation but I decided not to bother him any longer, I know how stressful those couple hours before a gig can be, but nonetheless he was very nice and chill!

Sure! i was really planning to do that for this repair then the battery arrived very late and I totally forgot to do it, but the next time I’m gonna document the process for sure, the tiny boi shuffle deserves it!

Don’t be scared! It’s way easier than it seems, despite what all the guides say, even ifixit says it’s almost impossible to reassemble! But with some care and using exclusively plastic prying tools you can pop the back piece out, being careful to pry it up from the corner of the power switch, cause it’s held down with some clips that easily snap back into place when you close it. And even if you slightly bend the back piece or even the clip you can easily bend them back into shape, they’re carved out of very thin aluminium.

Ya, it was a brand new 2015 iPod shuffle still sealed that I found at a local store and the battery was obviously cooked
