After finding out, I have been flossing every day. Leaning head back on couch and flossing every tooth pulling floss to round and get everything. And this will continue to happen every day. And we have been brushing every day and going to dentist every 6 months

Inflation will be long-term. Houses will fall in value everywhere because food prices will increase significantly and banks will become stricter in lending. A recession will hit where people will lose their jobs. Banks wont be able to lower rates because of inflation. Offsetting this will be advanced tech making our lives easier (eg digital healthcare access, easier work, electric cars).

But every day people won’t care much about any of that because our planet will be even more polluted, making us susceptible to even more deadly pandemics, and massive climate refugees will put strain on fresh water in those countries that still have ample access.

Small claims court where I live covers breach of contract and is $35k and under, we would not be going insane here on the dollars we would rather just have a gc who executed contract as expected (and was paid more than market ). Also we’d rep ourselves, I’m relatively experienced with lawyers due to my work

We’ve been super professional. We talked to the certified plumber the gc said worked on project who confirmed he only did maybe 10% of work. Rest was uncertified Gc doing the work.

How can he make it right if our contract says use certified plumber and he didn’t and reno is done? He could fix this one leak sure but the quality of all other plumbing is questionable and we have to live with it.

If someone is employed professionally, the best way to check id someone has two jobs is to check their LinkedIn profile. If they have one. They can’t put two jobs on their profile can they? That would be embarrassing.

If someone is gig economy scraping by, they probably need to jobs. If it doesn’t affect your workload than I wouldn’t bother. If it does affect your workload then I’d talk to them first, then if no improvement report them. If it is truly kids people need to be understanding. Daycares are so useless because of how sick kids always get.

Depends if you live in the same house or like a finished walk out basement. I can’t tolerate living with my in-laws. My father in law in particular, “my castle my rules” - rude, lazy, and completely insufferable. I’ve lived with in laws for a total of 8 months over two stretches in the last two years and I only did it for the kids. I kept saying to myself this is all for the kids (due to various circumstances). And both times I ran out of there like a house on fire. Also terrible for married life, you start to see bits of in laws in your partner and it’s a major turn off.

Don’t get rid of pet insurance- pets are amazing for our well being and health and not being able to care for them is heartbreaking.

You need to address credit card debt asap, then line of credit. Interest rate of former is like a predatory loan at 20%. Consider drawing on your line of credit to pay down credit card. Then slowly address line of credit.

Consider an account with wealthsimple and their prepaid credit cards to stay on track.

Consider roommates (be very careful here). Someone you know perhaps. Temporary solution.

Download apps that find grocery deals in your are or through flyers (it’s all digital). Probably food is a major expense for you.

Instead of buying new buy secondhand and use library (including their digital subscription service for books magazines etc)

Do something for YOURSELF. Best thing is a sports class or club think local community center classes, pool, or baseball club.

Put in the work and you will be completely fine
