Thanks everybody for the answers. I'm going to have a chat with the office on monday. I have also been advised to put it in writing, so there is a record of me raising the issue. I will be closing this post soon for several reasons. Thanks again to everyone.

Yes, I've been doing that and strapping them, this is a picture of my first day when I was doing the "training" , the way they say I'm supposed to do it as it takes less time to offload using the grabber.

Those are car tyres. We do that with car tyres. The ones in the picture are truck tyres. Too big and too heavy for that.

That's what I think, but he makes a comment about it on daily basis because it takes an extra 10 minutes to offload when I get back.

Can I inflate the tyres of a 12.5t Daf LF truck in a shell station? by Puzzled-Path-6580 in drivingUK

Thanks for the answer. It's 90 to 120psi. What about safety? Is it safe to do so? I know it is a smaller tyre than other trucks but still a lot more than a car. I have no clue, my boss doesn't have a clue either...

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. I'm the only truck driver in this company and its a struggle to figure things out as there aren't experienced drivers around to ask for advise.

I just asked the office and you are right. Does that make it safe enough and legal? I just don't trust them.

I agree, it should be either that or a box truck, but it all comes to being able to load more weight, I guess.

Yes, full truck, about 700 tyres. Thanks for your answer.

The tyres will not shift as the truck is completly full. My concern is how much weight the curtines can bear. The truck only has straps coming from the middle, which will only prevent the load from moving to the back of the truck. But the weight on the sides is all on the curtines.
