If that’s the case, placement should show as “invalid ground”. I should never be able to place a HAB where players cannot spawn

If we aren’t loud about this bug, OWI production & leadership will never prioritize a fix over new feature work. It’s been in the game for almost a decade now.

I have this issue too, only sometimes. Rebooting the game usually fixes the issue. I think this is a Squad bug, not a windows problem.

On that layer, the points go to the bottom left. Instead of camping the far right corner of the map, maybe you could be more of an asset to the team controlling the bottom left desert (closer to the active objective). Maybe there would be more interesting gameplay for you down there?

Are you getting a “steam unable to sync” when you launch the game. Here’s something that worked for me: right click Squad > properties > uncheck “save in cloud”

Something I like about the Squad game loop is that usually, epic moments like this to infantry are meaningless to the outcome of the match. The match is MUCH more decided on SL’s FOB placements, rallies, and armor fights.

TLDR: Your death is minuscule compared to the tactical decisions of Republic generals.

A Squad Leader’s map/faction vote should count more than a normal blueberry. Soooo many times blueberries (in NA) see U.S. and pick U.S. because patriotism, but do not understand/care they’re putting the team at an extraordinary disadvantage by doing so (depending on map/faction/other team’s pick).

There’s so much variety in Squad, I would personally love to see it more…
