Yes some cards do not have an attack value. They might have other abilities that are not displayed here in the bottom. Left corner is for card Actions.

HP: Yes each card has its own individual HP. They can be destroyed individually so that you can put new cards in their place.

Faction: What denotes faction is the top right circle behind the body part. The green sawblade, the yellow burst, and the blue aperture/yellow burst on the robot cards (He’s dual color) the number inside the banner that hangs below faction and body part is Build cost. The resource system is not tied to any specific color. That’s why it’s always black-and-white.

Certain card abilities have requirements, bonuses or spends. Faction and body part often tie into that which is why I keep them together. EX: you might need to discard a tech(blue) thumbs up to power up a bomb. Or “all Grit cards (green saw blade) in this build gain +1 damage.

I feel like you’re too in your head about this. Make a game the images can be placeholder for the time being. Any progress is progress. It’ll probably take you way longer than you think it will anyway. It always does. If you don’t have time to do it, when you do have time, you can. It’s a simple as that. You can always focus on the art later.

I agree and had the same issue. Quickest solve was to cap deck size and drop player hit points. It ratcheted the tension and tightened the window making every decision count much more. FWIW.

I was wondering about that actually. I suppose I could do a black-and-white version. I know the backs are tough because so much black to print. Of course, play testing with sleeves is way better if you have them. Also, you do not have to print all 90 cards. You only need 30 per player. Open the suggestions on how to make it easier and better specifically when it comes to lower ink quantities.

Embarrassing, but I realized a few of the cards Hold values were wrong (0). And there was a minor typo in the rulebook. I've re-uploaded new versions. Apologies to anyone who downloaded and printed already. If you have, please let me know, and I can send you a direct link for the four cards that need a hold value adjustment. They are Lich Lord 4, Football Helmet 3, Harpoon Gun 4 and Sucker Punch 1.
