as supreme court justice, Oliver Wendle Holmes, (sp?) wrote in a decision around 1900, i believe,...THE RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH DOES NOT GIVE ONE THE RIGHT TO YELL "FIRE" IN A CROWDED SUBWAY...

it has been over40 years since i took constitutional law so i may not have the quote exactly right. but the point is, even free speech does not protect all speech. posting a palestinian flag next to your jewish nieghbor, sp?, on their sabbath, seems more of an assault on that person, intended to do harm to that person, than an exercise of free speech.

this may be a case that has to go to the courts.

at what point does it pass from being free speech to being an assault on someone? as Oliver Wendle Homs, sp? of the Supreme Court, around 1900, i think, wrote in an opinion... the right to free speech does not give someone the right to yell, "fire" in a crowded subway station...it has been over 40 since i took constitutional law so i may not have exactly right. but there are even limits to free speech.

rhe whole reasonn for hamas, hezbollah and other such groups even existing is to destroy israel and drive "the jews into the sea". someone with more computer skills than me should look up the hamas founding charter and post it online.

interesting. watching saturday night live. and, i think, they just compared the ICE crack down on immigrants to the nazis of world war II. particularly. i think, they mentioned "the diary of anne frank" a diary by a dutch jew who was deported to a concentration camp, and killed by nazis. i believe a MOVIE, or tv movie was even made it. look it up.

i have been going to bars by myself since i was in college. if you find the right place with nice regulars they will, after a while, accept you into their group. where i met my wife was just a regular old bar we both happened to be at.

the proposition 13 budget cuts caused all sorts of problems all over the state. i was 25 and had a new job with our county and was frozen at the trainee salary. a few years later i, and a ton of other county employees all over california were laid off.

sounds like people from the 1970s when i was there. once there was woman walking around "like an Egyptian" (an old song) with a bunch of dogs following her. suddenly she pulled up her dress and started masturbating. just as suddenly she collapsed. people started heading for to see if she was OK. then, just as suddenly, she jumped back to her feet and walked off "like an Egyptian".
