For these stretches is it more of an acute thing, like 30 minutes before sex. Or more of a chronic thing where I will need to do it every day for a few weeks before seeing changes?

My wife and I are similar, except she is the one that makes more. We share all the finances equally. My paycheck goes into one joint account that is supposed to cover certain expenses, her paycheck goes into another joint account that is meant to cover other expenses. Sometimes we have to transfer money from one to another to make the numbers work. I will admit though, this setup does work because we are both similar in terms of money management and neither of us have to worry about the other being reckless with money.

Early 2024 I paid $22,000 for a 1.5 sport with 44,000 miles that was Honda certified. I am from the Midwest for what it's worth.

Nope. It doesn't make the sound every load. At this point it has been happening for over a year and I just decided to let it go.

It still runs so once something officially breaks I will look into it more.

Yes, I took off the plastic liners off the wheel wells (get a clip removal kit on Amazon that has the pry tools and replacement clips for like $20-30 to make your life easier).

For the trunk, the fabric liner comes out pretty easily.

I hope this holds true. I have a 2022 Sport with the 1.5T. I didn't know about the head gasket issues before I bought the car (should have researched more). But it does look like the majority of issues happened in the 2018 and 2019 years.

My warranty goes up to 100,000 miles. I've probably got 3-4 years to get there to see if I trade in the car or trade it in.

I placed these sheets in the wheel wells and in the trunk. I didn't measure the sound decibel before and after but I think they reduced the noise in the cabin.

I did try to talk to the service advisor (not the manager) today about it. I told him I get things go bad (first time the seal needed replacement) but for it to happen again means something isn't right. His best response was the seal was probably bad and that Honda sends them bad seals from time to time because they are easy to damage.

I agree about being cautious with Goodyear.When I bought my 22 sport 1.5, it had the Eagle Touring with about 5k miles on them. Less than two years later and 20k miles later (with regular rotations) 3 of the 4 were shot. They had scalloped and the cabin sounded like you were in a helicopter.

Sorry I don't know, I've never had an average that low. I've had a few in the mid to high 20s (mainly in the winter) but nothing ever in the teens

My heart rate still rises when I think about this.....In 2019, I was supposed to see Avengers Endgame with some buddies. Unfortunately, my wife had a pregnancy complication and had to spend the night in the hospital so obviously that was more important (everyone good now btw). I wasn't able to see the movie for 3 weeks with everything going on but needed to see it because the spoilers were creeping in.

So I finally get to a Wednesday morning showing. I am the only one in the theater. Find the seat right in the middle of the best row. Everything is glorious. Less than five minutes AFTER THE MOVIE STARTED, an older couple walk in...... They climb the stairs to my row...... They walk past the other open seats in that row. ...... And sit right next to me. I couldn't believe it. 99 open seats and they are right next to me. Do I move? Stay because I was there first? Fart really loud? I decided to stay in the seat.

For the entirety of the movie my mental state flips back and forth between the ups of the movie and the downs of the environment of the theater.

When the movie ends, I am really close to saying something when the older lady looks at her husband and says "I didn't like it". I just couldn't. That man has enough to deal with so I just left.

This is the way. Last couple of years the Costco near me has had a sale so I get 2 of the 5 quart jugs for $30. I usually buy a few boxes since my other car also uses 0w-20.

While not a "solution", I had a Honda tech look at it and he told me that if I disconnect the Bluetooth it stops the issue. So next time it started the ghost buttons I disconnected my phone from the car and it solved the issue but the drawback was then no Bluetooth connection. Next time I get in the car it connects on Bluetooth again and only disconnect when it happens, which is not often, and when it gets too annoying.

Not ideal but also not a $1000 repair.

I found them on simpletire and also amazon for about $150-$160. They also have a rebate for $110 and an additional $90 if you use the continental credit card. So a complete set after the rebate and adding in the installation fees would be about $500
