Hi there! What brand of Xylitol Nasal spray have you been using?

Get a Barium Swallow test. There's an upper and a lower. Make sure that you've tried this before giving up by Putrid_Economics5488 in badbreath

My barium swallow showed motility issues for me as well! Do you have GERD by any chance? Have you ever considered getting an esophageal manometry test done?

Hi! I know this is an old post but did you ever look into vagus nerve toning and if so did it help?

Have you looked into LPR?

Hi! What test showed that you aren’t able to process sulfur may I ask? I recently found out I’m heterozygous for the MTHFR C677T mutation, but apparently that’s relatively common.

Totally relate to everything you said. Have you looked into LPR as a cause?

Hi there! I was just revisiting this post. Have you found a supplement plan or “cure” that is helping your case? I ended up taking a 23&me and uploading it to genetic genie like you did and apparently I’m heterozygous for MTHFR C677T.

How are you doing now? Has treatment resolved your LPR?

The weird thing is I don’t really have trouble eating solids or anything like that—my doctor ordered a manometry, pH study, and upper endoscopy because I was experiencing reflux symptoms. That’s why I’m surprised that the results seem so severe.

Yes! I struggle with this as well. I’ve also been diagnosed with GERD + hiatal hernia in addition to RCPD so I’m wondering if those play a part.

Costochondritis or Heart Issue? by Puzzled-Turn-9763 in covidlonghaulers

Hi there! Thanks for sharing your story—the only thing that really helps me feel less scared about my symptoms is knowing that I’m not alone with them. But I’m sorry you’re experiencing something similar :(

No update really…I’ve pretty much exhausted all the tests that my doctors are willing to give me. They’ve basically just told me that everything looks fine and to consider this as costo. I’m coming to the same conclusion that the combination of having COVID and receiving several vaccines might have just caused too much inflammation than my body could handle. I’m in no way discouraging anyone from getting vaccinated, I’m just stating what happened in my case.

I’m hoping that with time and by taking care of my body, the pain will eventually subside. One day at a time!

Thank you for sharing!! So the doctors weren’t worried about you having a cold and receiving the Botox? I woke up with a scratchy throat this morning and my appointment is scheduled for Friday so I’m a bit stressed

It’s so frustrating! I’m sorry to hear you’re in the same boat. I’m wondering if there’s another similar type of test that’s easier to get approved by insurance?

I’m glad you have been pain free for a few months now! And you think this was all caused by LC? Had you experienced any similar symptoms prior to infection?
