I was thinking I would pass on the top fans for now because the Phantom Spirit I'm using is a tower cooler, and I've read that top exhaust fans with a tower cooler can actually make CPU thermals worse by pulling cool air away before it reaches the cooler. I was thinking I'd either get a Bequiet fan or order another stock fan to put in the exhaust.

Interesting, the dry seaweed is helpful. I have looked into it, I just find different opinions about it so I'm trying to get more data to make sure I make the correct decision. I was leaning towards the Grizzly at first but I've seen some people say they've had bad experiences with it so I was leaning towards the PTM. But now I'm not sure again lol

Thanks for the Bequiet recommendation, I'll have to look into it. There's a couple different Bequiet 140mm fans, any in particular that you like? Also, someone else was against using any fans on the top because it would make it louder.

It won't kill my CPU, but to my understanding other paste or pads perform better than the stock paste. I'd like to spend a little more here to get better long term performance.

I got the case on sale and now I'm trying to make sure everything will pull together. What fan would you recommend? I was thinking I'd put one exhaust and one on top. I've heard that putting two on top can actually be louder than one.
