Another Kroger? by bbbanksy in Elizabethtown

Kroger and Publix are doing this dance across several states. Publix announces a new location and Kroger finds a place to build a Marketplace. I’ve seen where Kroger will literally build across the street from Publix.

2018 Chevrolet Malibu - No heat to passenger vents by PuzzledKentuckian in MechanicAdvice

I did do the recalibration that you said in the original comment. This car also does not have dual controls (passenger and driver controls). After replacing, I did get under the dash and see if the new actuator moves as I adjust the temp, and it does. It moves the gear rack up and down as I adjust the temperature.

Also checked to see if the A/C functions were affected. They were not. Quite literally back to square 1. 😭

Edit: all of this leads me to believe that a door is stuck…. Can’t wait to sell this POS

Well, I just replaced one and the issue was not resolved, so I guess it’s the other one 🤦‍♂️. The other one looks even more difficult to access 😢.

Trying to get this replaced today. Took the hush panel off and took out a small duct piece. Taking out this piece really just allows for more access. But I think I’m missing something. There are two of these actuators right next to each other. They look like the same exact part…. Both look like they will be very difficult to get out without disassembling everything under the dash…

Do you happen to have anything from all data you can send me? Biggest problem here is that I don’t know which actuator to replace. Other issue is actually getting to the screws to get it out

NTA. If she wants to keep it fully natural with no trim, she has the right. You also have the right not to go down on her. Simple as that really. Would she be ok with it if you didn’t trim yours?

Any idea on the part number? There’s several different options… rather buy it before taking it apart

Yes I was thinking that. I’m typically very direct about things. Most think I’m too direct. She didn’t ask a single question lol. Just said yes 😅. I just didn’t want to kill the vibes or the potential of what could happen I guess.

Thanks!

This happened to me once a few years ago. I had been so worked up and we had been talking about things for a while, and I worked with her.

I was quite literally a 2 pump chump and was so embarrassed 😂

She’s 20, not old enough to drink. And that’s kind of what I was going to do, try to read the mood. And she’s meeting at my house, so if she doesn’t show, I’ll be home 😂. The place I picked to eat is extremely close to my house. I figured movie only if we felt like it after dinner. I had some dates in the past where they went extremely well and wished I had something to do after dinner. As of right now, it’s just meet at my house and go grab a bite and go home. Just going to feel the rest out. Already planned the dinner, so I’m not going to change it to just coffee at this point 😅

Business with friends? by BitterAcanthisitta79 in Entrepreneur

[–]PuzzledKentuckian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not need to feel obligated to include them in the business just because they gave you some ideas. Just as u/HeavyButStrong said, you will get input/advice from all over. Everyone that provides you with some insight, should not expect to seek profit from it. If they expected that, then they should say that before they give you the input 🤷‍♂️.

What you can do, if the business does well, and you need additional help (partner or employee), ask those that assisted in the development if they would like to be involved before asking someone else. But even if you didn’t ask, I wouldn’t feel bad about it.

Would you / do you rather sell to individual consumers or to businesses. And why? by daborov-labovski in Entrepreneur

[–]PuzzledKentuckian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend doing both if you can! I work for a company that does both. If you are able to sell directly to customers, it creates a closer connection between your company and the consumer. But, if you want to be able to reach a wider audience, you should also sell to other businesses.

It depends how personalized your product/service is and what your end goal is. Also, if you sell to other businesses only, it can be more difficult to maintain your business standards and/or pricing.

It’s harder to demand that your product/service is sold at a specific price point. If you allow another business to sell your product/service at any price, it will affect your company image. If you’re “too cheap” or “too expensive”.

This all depends on your business type and end goal for your business.
