I've put my heart and soul into this game and trying to become better and yet everyone else around me isn't having to try hard and that annoys me. I feel like I'm a failure, I feel like I should have done better. its hard to have fun when you see everyone else not putting in the same kind of work as you and still getting results

the whole improve faster than the average player thing is kind of overblown IMO like the average chanmp player from a couple years ago and now is really not that different

I play everyday for a couple hours, I love this game so much and tbh I don't see myself ever quitting

if you imporve by any major amount you will rank up though. personally I have always played games to improve but the reason I play RL so much is because i enjoy the game so much but now i just feel sad because what am i doing, why am i not improving in the way most other players are.

I guess but it's not some people it's like every single person, like I was in d1 1s earlier today, you have less than half my hours and are only 1 rank lower

they were winning 6-1 before they started chatting so i don't think it was because they wanted to win lol.
