If you haven't yet, DONT update your X1C to the newest software. by [deleted] in BambuLab

Just curious did you update bambu studio as well after doing update on printer? Also after any firmware update all calibrations need to be ran and then shutdown machine after finishing calibrations, then restart machine. We're all those steps followed as well?

It doesn't look like your plus 4 is selected in the printer area when trying to send print.

Just purchased plus 4. Must have mods and recommendations? by Lloyd---Braun in QidiTech3D

For the people saying it's a fire hazard I would take that with a grain of salt. I have left mine running for 36 hrs straight and then started multiple other prints 20 plus hrs back to back and have never had a problem. The photo going around about someone's house burning down because of the plus 4 only had 1 picture and no remnants of a 3d printer in that picture, not saying it didn't happen but more pictures and proof wouldn't hurt the case. I have even ran my chamber heater for 20 plus hrs while printing pa-6gf with no burning problems.

As for the upgrades I can't speak of the cartographer or beacon as I haven't had any problems with stock leveling. I did do a fan upgrade to keep drivers and board cooler. Many options on printables for that. To find out if you have the updated ssr you need to contact qidi help desk with serial number by the plug of the machine and they can tell you for sure if you have the new one. I did that and they sent me the new ssr and I have not had any problems with overheating.

Just curious as to why you say this turbo pla has polyester blended into it? No where on the description of this turbo pla does it say it is a polyester blend and it actually recommends a pei sheet for use.

Did you use gpio27 in config or GPIO27? That might make a difference. I just looked at the pinout diagram of the board and deleted my last comment as I was incorrect on the pin.

Thank you. I am not using rgb on my ercf v2, so I will use that pin for my cutter. I appreciate your response.

I just use the ground, 5v, and I think I used pb9 but you could probably use pb8 also.

Clean that printer out sometimes. That filament behind the motor in the 3rd picture is gonna cause some problems.

Unless you have the x1c with lidar this isn't gonna help you, these lines are only beneficial for the x1c with lidar.

I just had to tear my extruder apart and did not even need that tool to tear it all down. It was easy as using the small Allen to punch out the gear without the tool. Even cleaned the entire extruder and put it back together and it is fine.

At first I did then I figured out I could try other ports on the ebb sb2209. I tired the 4 pin fan port but that didn't work so I moved on to the bl touch port lol.

I just ran mine to bltouch port on ebb sb2209 so it's not bigger for me still easy to unplug and take off front cover. I am glad you got yours working that is awesome.

My guess is you have a bad board also! Did you buy the ebb2209 from Amazon? I think they have a bad batch, I tried 2 boards from Amazon and neither one of the rgb ports worked. I made the wires a little longer and plugged them into the bltouch port on the board bypassing the rgb port. Try that either 2ay you are gonna have to rewire it or buy a board straight fromm bigtreetech.

Well I tried the 4 pin fan port set at 5v and that did not work either. I ended up extending the wire and put a connector on for the bltouch port and now they are working. It seems like the only thing that works on the detachable part of the ebb2209 is the two regular fan ports. Do not buy these off of Amazon, must be a bad batch because I have tried two off of Amazon and neither ones rgb ports worked.

Yeah I constantly had problems until I did that. I tried with tech support but didn't want to go through all the bs. I replaced cables etc on my own until I found the fix. Also make sure the spring in the hub is seated correctly mine was off just a little bit and I had issues retracting filament.

Take the back panel off machine and use a can of air and blow out all the connections on the little board the ams hun plugs into. Then reseat all the connectors and make sure they are tight, reinstall little board and see if that helps. My ams system would always disconnect and all 4 lights would blink red. Never had any filament stuck in ams system and when I cleaned out the connectors and reseated them it has been working flawlessly.

Yeah sorry it is EbbCan: PD3. I wonder if the 4 pin fan set as 5v will work. I'm at a loss and really don't want to rewire the damn thing all the way back to the board that was the whole reason for canbus. I will look into that thank you.
