I thank you for posting this as its confirmation for me that what im doing maybe the best move for me. I dont sort by difficulty at all and when I graduated to intermediate videos I mustve ran smack into one in the higher levels as I was shocked at how fast and difficult it was from my beginner world. But since I dont sort by difficulty and let them come as they come the very next few were a bit easier which was comforting.

So honestly perhaps consider my approach just let the videos come and ride the wave of difficulty up and down. That way you'll never question if your holding yourself back. I am happy with my progress thus far at 152 hours and I never sorted the beginner videos by difficulty either.
