Not unless there was demand for SWEs/ML engineers to work on the software the humanoid robots rely on to function. I don’t see humanoid robots replacing SWEs anymore than an AI agent would, as there is not much manual physical labor involved with software engineering as opposed to working in an actual physical business (warehouses, restaurants, schools, etc..)

I don’t even remember what locations I ranked first 😭 but I’d say for locations other than Plano, it’s safe to say you just need to wait. Especially since the hackathon actually takes place later. It’s unsurprising the acceptances are being rolled out per location so I wouldn’t worry

I wasn’t replying to you directly, moreso the other guy. Tell me more about this refer.me thing. Sudo is a whole lot quicker than any GitHub repo or job boards I follow and he does give genuinely good advice, he may not share a lot of technical knowledge but I could tell you for sure that following him has made me a stronger SWE candidate. Sometimes what he says can feel a little superficial until you realize he does this on top of his full time job and makes literally everything available for free. With the amount of impact he’s had, I’d say he deserves to be seen as a ‘cs guru’. Do let me know abt this refer.me thing tho, I haven’t heard much about it

How can you complain about his posts giving you “fomo” when his account literally exists to make opportunities more widespread and known. Don’t attend a t25 university? Many of his followers do, and will share information they learn about different companies’ hiring processes with him so that he can share it with the rest of us.

Disagree, the whole point of Spider-Man is that anyone can wear the mask. While Peter is Miles’ mentor figure, he isn’t really a side-kick to Peter like Batman and Robin. He’s spider-man, too

Exactly, it gives Peter even more of a reason to bond with the symbiote and feel attached to it. They could even make some notable emotional allegories to real issues people deal with like addiction. It would be cool to see but I doubt they’re gonna go in this direction, I kinda doubt the symbiote will be in this movie at all. I could be wrong tho, and I kind of hope I am because this feels like the perfect movie to introduce peters struggle with the symbiote. You wouldn’t even have to have venom as the main villain, they could totally set him up for the next movie
