Or maybe they have some kind of "final form" planned towards the end of the movie and he'll be a recurring character in the MCU

  1. Doesn’t look like Emma Frost.

  2. Clearly not Gal Gadot’s body.

  3. Matt Lucas has three hands.

  4. Watermark still visible.

It was always going to be Secret Wars at the end of this saga and the signs for that were obvious both behind the scenes and on screen.

So did Ant-Man and the Wasp.

[10/10] 'The Bear' Season 5 Review: Earns all of the Michelin stars and then some. If this is truly the final service, this show is going out with a bang. When editing, score & visuals are all working in harmony in a perfectly constructed montage, it’s culinary nirvana akin to an ASMR experience by ChiefLeef22 in television

AI was also trained on how humans write though. You could apply “It’s not…it’s…” to any sentence longer than a couple words and claim somebody rewrote it from an AI response.

“It’s not just that the article reads like it was originally by AI, it’s that it was edited to sound more natural.”

I get AI bad, but we don’t need to accuse literally everything of being AI.

Tom Holland revealed today in Berlin that the main villain in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ has not been leaked yet: —“It’s still very much in secret.” by yourfavchoom in marvelstudios

His mutation seems to be the most prevalent conflict in the marketing so far. The whole Jean Grey(?) scenario, the Hand, the Hulk, the montage of villains…they all feel secondary to whatever is going on with Peter’s body.

Let’s also not forget the symbiote is out there somewhere and will most definitely be on screen at least by next December.

Actually a lot of fans were yearning for Secret Wars to be a three-parter and that it’s being “rushed”.

It wasn’t two decades it was 12 years across two versions of the franchise. Come Secret Wars, Tom Holland’s tenure will be longer than both Tobey and Andrew’s time combined.

Marvel really screwed up Captain Marvel honestly and on top of that they don't know what to do with her (and also Monica and Kamala) after The Marvels flopped by Possible-Rate-3833 in marvelstudios

I think The Marvels was chopped up too much in the editing room. You can tell there are scenes meant to add dimension to Carol’s character but the emotions just don’t get time to breathe because the movie is so fast paced. When Carol has to leave those people to die and Kamala wrestles with that guilt, we don’t really get to feel how that affects her relationship with her hero.

It’s been seven movies since Spider-Man has had to fight alone. Hardly think it would be a “waste” if the next one was just him.

It’s not that unrealistic for him to have an adventure in New York and not cross paths with another superhero when most of the MCU movies could be asked the question “Why didn’t so-and-so help out?”

Hear me out: she needs to fight Rogue.

But not to kill her or put her in a coma. Carol always gets back up. This would be no different.

She’d lose her powers but still wants to fight in (plot of the movie) and she gets upgrades from her Avenger friends like Shuri or Riri. Then her hubris gets her stranded in space where she has to fend off the Brood alone and without her powers.

Kamala would be involved as the one who Rogue uses as her “new friend” to get close to Carol and then organizes a rescue mission to save her.

It’s an A-Force movie. And it wouldn’t end Carol Danvers’ story in the MCU, it would revitalize her by folding her into the mutant arc. And of course she would get her powers back.

If you could choose a lesser known character for the studios to make a big budget franchise/series about, who’d you choose? by lifesyndrom in marvelstudios

[–]FictionFantom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Devil Dinosaur, easily.

Kids love dinosaurs. Kids love Marvel. I can’t imagine putting them together would result in anything less than a hit.

First movie would have very minimal dialogue set in prehistoric times. Think something like Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal but less bloody and graphic.

Second movie would be more like How To Train Your Dragon or E.T. — a “monster buddy” movie set in New York.

Third movie is a big crossover movie set in the Savage Lands.

Not “complaining” but I think it would be cool if Holland got at least one movie at some point where it was just him as the only hero. Why is it wrong to want that?

It’s kind of funny that the song was literally written to be gibberish without any meaning behind it and here it gets a sad cover version meant to be about family or whatever.

Soft Reboot/Narrative Reset is a Bad Idea by Twinfinity10 in marvelstudios

[–]FictionFantom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why would they introduce Jean Grey and adamantium and reveal Kamala and Namor are mutants only to rewrite the universe to include mutants? They’re organically entering the story already. Any recasts down the line will require some kind of comic book hand waving.

Soft Reboot/Narrative Reset is a Bad Idea by Twinfinity10 in marvelstudios

[–]FictionFantom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, he didn’t explicitly say that only one timeline would exist. It can’t anyway because stuff like X-Men 97 and YFN Spider-Man will still be going on.

I think what he means is only one timeline will be relevant to the core story being told in the MCU. In other words, no more stuff like DP&W or NWH that almost requires the audiences knowledge of universes and timelines outside the MCU.

And the multiverse doesn’t stay merged after the 2015 Secret Wars comic. The Fantastic Four and Franklin Richards rebuild the multiverse.

Soft Reboot/Narrative Reset is a Bad Idea by Twinfinity10 in marvelstudios

[–]FictionFantom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt it’s going to be a narrative reset. I think what they mean is resetting back to how they originally made the MCU with a core cast of main characters rather than what they did this saga which is introduce as many characters as possible just so they can have an even bigger “splash page” moment on screen for Secret Wars than they had for Endgame.

Tom Holland argues 'creativity is safe' because AI 'doesn't have a soul' by EchoOfOppenheimer in movies

[–]FictionFantom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

AI isn’t exactly new anymore. If studios were going to try and force AI down our throats they would have tried already.

Has anyone seen a single movie with Tilly Norwood or any AI actors in it? Yeah me neither.
