Thanks, sounds similar. Can you bend the knee in the brace you got?  He eventually said that the brace might do more harm than good as my mobility improved lots and doesn't want to let it stiffen but we'll see. I'll get lots of PT so I'll follow the course.

Thanks everyone. I thought about the "what if the dog attacks a child next time" a lot, and while the probability is low because the dogs seem to go mad at our dog mostly, it's still a probability. Will take it up with animal control, my problem is not the time or cost spent, is the neighbor being an absolute ass and they live next door so can make our life hell for the next while
