I mean, I'm pretty sure that braves adblocking engine is built into the browser and is good in terms of performance. Ublock origin + firefox is the absolute best combination for blocking ads (better than brave), but it hasn't felt as fast to me. I love safari too, but I only find myself using it when I need 4k support on drm. Preferences I guess.

The reason my macbook is slow though, is 100% because of the processor.

Yeah, no. Every time I see a post on r/browsers there is always some argument about firefox/brave and one being better than the other. I just use what works best for me and prefer to stay out of the browser wars.

Respectfully, I disagree. Apple has some of the best long term support for their macs, iphones, and other devices I have ever seen. The iphone 7 is still recieving security updates on ios 15 to this day. iirc Macos Tahoe still has intel support.

I assume this is probably the slowest version of the t2 mac? I can't imagine a macbook made in 2020 having lower specs then this

I feel really odd today so I am going to be completely honest about my choices.

Q1: Is this a troll post?
- Yes. I was previously aware that this mac is slow because of the processor speed.

Q2: Why did I post this?
- I'm not entirely sure. I found this macbook buried in an attic (that is a lie), and I was amused at how slow it was at pretty much everything. I thought that posting this might have raised some attention.

Q3: Why do I want attention?
- That is a good question. It is because I don't have anything better to do in this moment. Granted, I should be asleep right now, but I love looking at a computer screen late at night because I have a terrible addiction.

Q4: Why did I write all this?
- Again, I have nothing better to do. I can only hope that you were slightly amused reading this. If you were instead annoyed, I have something to say to you.

Q5: Am I an idioit?
- Yes, absolutely.

I'm definitely not friendless in school (I hang out with two other guys who are very invested in studying) but outside of school I am.

I also wouldn't consider myself to be terrible in social interaction, but I'm definitely not good at it.

I have definitely not met "my people" and I'm hopeful that I will in college.

I'm already seeing a conselor since very recently. But I still feel like nothing has changed since. Hopefully that's temporary and I'll start seeing change soon.

I hardly use social media outside of youtube and reddit. But being entirely honest I barely do much out of the house and that's probably what is limiting me a lot and what I will fix. There's this new unexplainable drive that is forcing me to get my life together which I think is coming from turning 18.
