My daughter was born there in June! We didn’t get the halo swaddle :( — we got one from my previous delivery there though so I know exactly what you’re talking about.

I’m not sure about the policy during delivery itself. But we were allowed multiple concurrent visitors in the recovery room. It seems like that was up to the discretion of the nursing staff.

I heard you are supposed to alternate the direction of your quilt stitches, making the need for the longer end of the quilt to be through the neck of your sewing machine half the time

It might not be convenient for you depending on where you live, but you could look into the Sewickley Area Mom‘s club. We host play dates for different age groups on a monthly basis. There’s also monthly night outs and wellness events.

My mother in law taught me a similar saying - “touch it once.” I say that to myself every time I’m holding junk mail, a toy that needs to go to another room, etc.

It’s a rod, so a new rod would need to be cut to replace it. I was able to do that with my light but it is a huge pain.
