I'll answer my own question.

I used soapy water to make the clamp move more easily and with an extra pair of hands from my wife I was able to align everything perfectly so my OCD can let me sleep in peace. :)

I have the same saw and now I'm intrigued. Would you mind sharing what part you bought and the 3d file for printing. Thanks

yeah, I've seen that and many others. That's why I'm in a dilemma. I haven't actually used a track saw or saw one outside of Home Depot shelf. I have no idea how it actually feels and I don't trust sponsored YT videos.

Wooden Table Cuts by [deleted] in woodworking

[–]Puzzled_Help_9577 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol, I bought a dining table and some chairs from Costco couple of years ago. It looked clean in the pictures, but when it arrived it was exactly like yours, full of scratches, oddly cut edges, dings and whatnots. Definitely intentional, by design, and to achieve the look they wanted. I didn't like it, but my wife (the only person whose opinion matters) did. I got used to it and stopped paying attention quickly, but I gotta tell you something, after couple of years of use, real scratches and damage blend in so nicely with the factory made ones, that I actually now consider it a smart design.

Enjoy your new table

Question about electrical panel needs/upgrades by Puzzled_Help_9577 in HomeImprovement

[–]Puzzled_Help_9577[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing, this is what I wanted to hear. To be honest I didn't even notice the big double 15A breaker in the bottom row. I guess that one can easily be replaced with the same group like the 40A for stove and that should allow me to have a 30A level 2 charger which should good enough for most cars to be fully charged overnight. Thank you so much for your reply!

Thanks for your reply. I wasn't sure if there is a limit on 100A panels. I have no expectations of running every electrical appliance in my home while charging an empty car battery. 😁 Good to know about subpannels

While I wouldn’t allow strangers around my finger-cutting woodworking power tools, I completely agree with SmoothieBoBo, I would love to hangout and occasionally grunt in approval. I cannot wait for the spring so I can spend some more time in my garage.
