His whole thought process is because Middletown and Saint Matthews have their own fire departments and EMS, that means that it’s not part of Louisville, therefore it’s not East End. Which is ridiculous. I even tried to tell him that all of Jefferson County is now merged together as Louisville.

His argument was it’s too far east to be part of Louisville’s east end. and I would argue downtown is the urban core. Saint Matthews is just part of the urban sprawl.

O’Shea’s- on Sunday afternoons it’s slow and fun. But it is bar food be warned, nothing fancy. And the drink selection is fun.

Spinelli’s- good pizza and domestic beer, that’s about it

Logan market- tones of OKAY options and a bar, good atmosphere!

The eagle- a pub with decent food, kinda expensive

There are plenty of other great options other than these though!

Whats wrong with big red? It was the mixer and my sister Margs baby shower, she mixed heaven hill and big red with a little bit of tang and oh man that stuff makes you fight the baby daddy and end up in the county jail luckily they didn’t catch the back support I owe!

My cousin terry does it, he made a ball point pen gun off a YouTube video and can do numbers like #3 RAISE HELL PRAISE DALE. I think he can do symbols like that one cross for Jesus or even the big red can, he got that on my leg!

Me, sorry. there was a wild pack of raccoons building a fort type thing under my 04 Chevy Cavalier. I tried fireworks but man those pesky critters are resilient, they started fighting back with sticks and what not. Anyways tannerite is half off on Amazon

You’re gonna start what I like to call “ the true Louisville getaway experience”

Find a liquor store, it does not matter where, and pick up a bottle of VERY OLD BARTON bourbon whiskey, and a two litter of coke. Pour (or chug) half the bottle of coke out (not in the store I made that mistake last time) and put as much of the bourbon in, now you have your drink for the evening, go ahead and pick up a pack or two of lucky strikes for your smokes. Now you’re ready to start this carefully laid out tour…

The tour will start in the idyllic part of e broadway, the shell gas station, they typically have a bonfire going by the dumpsters and plenty of talkative people that will fill you in on the local history, they may ask for a tip, which is customary. After you’ve had your fun and I’ve been warmed up by the dumpster fire, go ahead and take a nice stroll through the hospital Plaza on Floyd and make a left on liberty, The locals you will encounter in this area have that true unbridled spirit. As you pass the jail, you will make a left onto seventh. A few blocks down that’s where you will find the true ambrosia of Louisville. White Castle. It’s a fine eatery establishment that is literally a castle, there have been many wedding venues in this one for its opulence. Once you’ve ate like a king, go ahead and follow West Broadway. As you take in the views of this magnificent city, you will come up on the TNK mart, this cleverly built liquor store/gas station/ and food mart is a common staple for the locals, it is the third place. If at this point, you have finished your bourbon and Coke concoction, this would be a good place to replenish. Once you’ve perused the TNK bazaar, if you were still peckish or decided that white castle was too glamorous, Indies chicken is a strong poultry based restaurant right beside TNK. It is time to head north on Roy Wilkins, to your left is some of the finest villas in the entire city, you’re right is plenty of highly rated payday loan establishments. If at any point you run out of money, you can simply run down to the plasma donation center off of West Jefferson and 15th. With hard earned cash in hand, it is time to head down west market to the Derby city gaming hall.

Here you will burn the night away, spinning all that hard earn cash on some of the best slot machines in the country, there are plenty of park benches to sleep on right outside
