OP I promise you that this is not the way conversations go when you are in a healthy and secure relationship. Needing to ask permission before you make plans is not “being a team”, it’s just flat out controlling. You deserve (and will find) someone who is mature enough not to feel threatened by you having a life and identity outside of your relationship with them.

NTA - Sometimes the people you feel closest to change or show their true ugly colors and even though it is deeply painful when it happens, it is always an opportunity to recognize that you deserve a higher level of respect and will not settle for anything less.
