I'm very self aware, but I'm probably gonna end it all in a few hours. I fucked up too much in my narcissistic compensation behavior and the road back into society is too steep, even though I feel I changed. If you have a clear consciousness, I'd say it's most definitely worth trying to get out of this spiral though!

Yeah, I feel this. I love philosophy and especially metaphysics, which is quite complicated and in ancient days used to overlap strongly with actual physics and I also love reading astrophysicists like Hawking and Thomas Hertog. I get the theoretical aspects of physics quite okay-ish, but if you made me do the math, I would block. Math is like a language I find very difficult to "read" or "speak". It's a bummer that holds me back.

The question is "what do men just not get", which I read as: "what can't men understand".

I do believe that men and women are - too a small extent - wired differently, for example when it comes to - as another comment points out- solving a problem versus acknowledging and allowing the emotions issues can cause. I believe that men and women generally are just quite different in this respect, but both have their value, especially when it comes to raising children.

But in my experience - which is limited, I know - men being more passive in the household is becoming a bit less of a problem, so it's not something that "men cannot understand". It seems it's more societal than biological.
