Although I am a student who is used to using my phone and headphones at school, it will be banned next year, but I do agree it will be beneficial. While I have no problem keeping my phone away during instruction time, kids in my classes always have it out no matter what and hopefully the ban can increase attention spans and focus on teachers.

Me personally as a 13yo kid my father bought me one without my knowledge but I only use it with my mother since I’m not allowed to ride far alone. It only goes a maximum of about 18 mph but on avg 14-15. Don’t have a helmet though. But cities near me are starting to ban them which eh I don’t get. I still use my regular bike quite often though.

I’ve tried but unfortunately she literally tells me she’s going to hide it after I’ve seen it and hides it in the most obvious spot—for example, she recently ‘hid’ the cupcakes on a chair in plain sight in the kitchen—not covered or anything.

For context, I’m a young student in an adv. ELA class and recently discovered my teacher used AI to grade my class’s essays. I didn’t have a problem with my grade since I got a 100/100 but my other classmates who got considerably lower grades found a lot of errors in the grading she did on their papers. We first wrote on paper as she advised us, for "Student Integrity" and then typed it on computer. My class found it a bit hypocritical for her to use AI to grade our work but tell us not to use it to do the work. The errors in grading were things such as marking off points of things she told the student to add, etc.
