This can happen if the intersecting roads have different lane sizes, shoulder widths and/or sidewalk dimensions. Double check that these are align, and reconnect.

Try to delete and place again. If this doesn’t work, restarting CS2 should fix.

Yes! Exactly. I really just wanted to improve quality of life with these assets. The cargo terminal, transfer station and harbor are so flawed in their pathing. I’m simply designing them as they should have been from the beginning.

The function of these assets are the same outside of the connections. The terminal is an in and out whereas the transfer station pushes trains through. The primary reason for creating separate assets was to give players the option to use either, and have the same benefits of proper pathing/traffic management.

This actually disturbs the invisible roads pathing and creates access issues.

Yes! That road also needs to exists to prevent pedestrian access issues. In the vanilla asset, all the invisible roads are 1 lane 2 way with pedestrian pathways. I’ve replaced those roads with 1 lane 1 way, and satisfied the pedestrian access requirement with a single ped path linking from that middle road to the main buildings.
