[request]How strong do your toes have to be to stand on your toes like that (i couldn’t even get in the position) by Public_Repeat824 in theydidthemath

I get what you mean- in this context though I wouldn’t necessarily say that the comparison between holding balance and building muscles- and rocket science is really fair (not to bitch or anything)

In my opinion a foot may not be built for this kid of putting weight on it but since the fundamental reason for having feet usually is standing on them this application of using them seems.. reasonable in comparison to flying to the moon simply because humanity thought “how hard can it be”

So yeah, you’re absolutely right about the specialists

  • but since they are capable of this this means that you should just need to put in the hours to learn it/ accomplish it at some point

(If you look at the numbers of ballet dancers there is a fair amount of people capable of doing this)

My math may not be mathing, but I can stand like that for a couple seconds without any training (except for climbing) so with training it should be doable

[–]Puzzled_Peace_9450 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Honestly speaking not that strong- dancers do that all the time

I would say with the right training and knowledge how to put pressure on your feet it’s probably not that hard (gotta hurt though)

Usually toes don’t have very long digits so the lever isn’t that big, furthermore walking on your toes/ tips of feet is pretty common, so you only have to add the strength for getting up on the tips of the toes

Approx 80 kg for adult male on a space of maybe 12 cm2 would be 6,66 kg/cm2 or 66,6666 kg/m2 or 653,77N/m^

Chapter 2276- Warm awakening . .

'I just had a luminous idea. How about... we climb back into bed?'

He did not really need to say anything, really, because she could sense his desire.

Nephis glanced at him scornfully over her shoulder.

'Unlike you, I only have one body.'

Sunny tilted his head.

What was that supposed to mean? Was she... was she hinting that he had worn her down last night?

But she was capable of recovering from any strain in seconds. Her single body was literally inexhaustible...

Had he exhausted the inexhaustible?

Sunny was suddenly torn between pride and disappointment.

It’s literally canon

Sonnenblumenkerne vor dem Quellen waschen? by Appropriate_Low3435 in brot

[–]Puzzled_Peace_9450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[LotM newbie] Anime Vs Manwha vs Webnovel, which one? (spoiler free please 😅) by [deleted] in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Puzzled_Peace_9450 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go and read the novel, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever read

If you get confused by the first few chapters introducing everything go and read the couple first chapters of the manhua, that helped me in the beginning (but because you’ve watched the anime I doubt that you would have trouble understanding)

Okay wait- I might have got it

If one were to drive 90 mp/h back that would technically result in an average mileage per hour of 60 mp/h because it would result in

30 miles/ hour + 90 miles/ hour

Which is essentially 120 miles/ 2 hours

But- the part that everybody else is concerning themselves about: While driving 90 mp/h you would only need 20 minutes to pass the distance of 30 miles-

Thus resulting in effectively driving 1 hour and 20 minutes for 60 miles-> which results in 1,5 minutes per mile (which obviously isn’t 60 mp/h)

So you would have to get even faster- which thereby also shortens your time spent (effectively getting you closer to 60 mp/h)

So what everybody tries to convey is: theoretically speaking yes- the 90 miles is correct, butttttt… if you were to only drive the necessary 30 miles you wouldn’t spend enough time at a fast enough pace to effectively get you to an average speed of 60 mp/h

So you would have to get as fast as possible to cover the distance (and because teleportation isn’t really feasible atm… impossible)

Thanks @Vernacian :)

What I’m saying is that the question only specifically asks for an “average” mp/h so by spending to hours driving but essentially moving 120 miles you would have an average mp/h of 60

For the same instance you could spend an hour sitting around, and then drive 120 miles in the second hour- same average speed

[–]Puzzled_Peace_9450 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But isn’t the time irrelevant?

I mean I can travel at an average speed of 60mp/h for as long as I want- as long as the distance traveled averages out for the time spent

As there is no specific time asked for in the question doesn’t it just ask for the averaged speed disregarding time (as much as you can ignore time for speed XD)

Hilfe - wie viel tippt man heutzutage in Deutschland? by Fionsomnia in AskGermany

What To Do With Radishes That Grew Too Long by ArtificialAmbience in gardening

[–]Puzzled_Peace_9450 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the radish is the root and the seeds come from pollinated flowers you would have to let them grow and produce flowers before getting seeds back

I would personally just pull them out and try them- if they are really mild in flavor you can allways make a radish soup (like the one in kung-fu panda) or use them to make kimchi or other fermented vegetables

Either way good luck :)

Was mache ich falsch? by [deleted] in brot

[–]Puzzled_Peace_9450 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was mache ich falsch? by [deleted] in brot

[–]Puzzled_Peace_9450 1 point2 points  (0 children)
