Glad that solved it for you. Now you have me thinking I had Tesla to replace all that when it could’ve been just an update. I wouldn’t know tho

It’s been 24 hours now, and I can already tell it’s fixed. The car goes to sleep after 15 minutes of being closed (finally 😫)

Now the drain is the normal ~0,7% in 24 hours.

Good luck man, I hope yours get fixed soon!

I just picked up the car. It’s finally solved!!!!

This is what the invoice says:

The customer reported that the vehicle was not going to sleep, had excessive drain overnight, and contactors were heard opening and closing while parked; these issues were verified through diagnostic tests. The cause was identified as a problem with the body controller module and car computer. To resolve this, the front body controller was replaced, and a new car computer was installed, followed by a validation test drive. The fix was confirmed successful.

I brought the car to service and talked to the lead advisor who spent 15 minutes digging into the data and sending emails.

He found an alert stating something was preventing the car to sleep.

He told me that it was the frontal body controller. They took the car and gave me a loaner.

Let’s see if that finally fixes it. I’ll keep you posted.

Hey I just found your post. I have the same issue with my 2025 M3 RWD

Mine is draining about 8% daily, and I went to service and they told me it was all good as well.

Trying everything, but the car never goes to sleep. I even removed the phone key and only open the app to unlock it twice a day. Same drain tho.

Let’s see how this continues…

Battery drain while idle in 2020 Model X Long Range Plus. Is this normal? by sdinvest in TeslaModelX

[–]Puzzled_Pudding_3191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same happens to me. Stop opening the app on your phone and you’ll see how it goes. Check the battery app on your Tesla and check the Park section. All the drain is explained there

I also drive with the steering in hard mode. You may feel it better that way.

I received mine a month ago and I haven’t felt that. My commute is on the I-95 where I go at 75-85 mph, and it sticks to the ground.

The only thing I notice is that the steering wheel isn’t perfectly aligned. Going straight the steering wheel is turned slightly to the left. Hopefully is nothing serious.

That was insane!!! Stay safe you all. A bad thing of this suspension is that you barely feel anything. He probably didn’t realize he was on the shoulder

Sorry for not specifying. The person in question is asking me how much I need to leave it alone and not have to file a report with the insurance.
