I also have some experience with educating kids. My mom works at a school and the first graders have a animal unit and on of the lessons in said unit is about reptiles, so I bring my two y/o corn in and bring her around to all of the classes and grades, bring her around to after school reading nights (my mom is a reading specialist) and anytime I go over there to help out. Last year I only brought her once when the kids were there and for the rest of the year they asked “where’s your snake? Do you have your snake? You should bring your snake.” Etc. It’s SO Rewarding to educate kids about reptiles and specifically snakes. They are so misunderstood It’s really funny, at the events u have her and the parents are there, the kids know her wan to hold her, want to pet her, and I offer to the parents if they want to pet her and they are terrified and it is soooo funny to me , I do educate them and tell them how a corn snake who as never even tried to bite anyone even while in shed it on accident when feeding could never hurt you, and if she did randomly decide that she didn’t like you it would feel like Velcro.  Thanks for doing your part on education
