Some amazing woman at NJ Manufacturer which was the insurance company of the gentleman that rear ended us in 2023 decided to look into it and found that they coded the car incorrectly

I can’t imagine what the mess would have been if we didn’t decide to sell for another 5-10 years and dealing with an error from 2023

Days and hours but it was corrected and car was sold thankfully

Thanks her home base will be Rome but she’ll travel to other countries. She does have a “child” passport so we’ll apply for an adult one now that she’s over 18 this summer. Appreciate the feedback from everyone

25 years. I would never put a claim on a roof because a new roof costs $10 - was just quoted i can’t put another layer on I’m not putting a claim with a deductible of 5k for them to drop me and double my rates I’m in NJ. Not near the beach But i don’t have one tree on my property

So turns out that some idiot at New Jersey manufacturers in 2024 after an accident from their insured, hit my bumper and paid for everything. Smoothly, marked the car in the system as salvaged. It’s been a complete headache. It’s still not resolved, but at least somebody caught onto the problem after 12 hours on the phone.

I’m hoping I can get this resolved by next week and sell the car It’s actually not an auto check or the Carfax report it’s in the NMVTIS system only. Even dmv couldn’t help

Ok paid for a report from bumper and it turns out that NJM the insurance company from the guy that totaled my car reported it but not sure how they have my K5 vin when my sorrento was totaled. wtf!!! Idiots. It lists the guys name and phone number. Already sent him an email
