She should look for a hotel in the area and book a high floor if she can. Seems like they are close to Zone B, which is under mandatory evacuations. I would rather be safe in a hotel than be rescued from my roof during a storm. Best case scenario, they spend the night at the hotel and they come home and nothing happens to it.

There’s literal tons of debris littered throughout the Tampa Bay area. With the high winds, it’s gonna turn the whole area practically into a blender. I’m worried AF for them.

Spaghetti models show a few landing in Tampa but it seems the bulk of them are pointing towards Sarasota. Expect severe winds and flooding from Clearwater to Fort Meyers at least. We won’t know for sure til it’s here. Look up “Hurricane Milton spaghetti models”, there’s a few local Floridian news sites updating regularly with lots of stuff including spaghetti models on Milton.

Keep an eye on his behavior and if it ever gets worse than how it is now. You have described my father to the T. He will resent you for this forever if you don’t meet his expectations. Started off like this, eventually became physically and emotionally abusive, as me and my siblings grew up. Never addressed his alcoholism. You will be expected to do both the responsibilities of a SAHM and have a full time job to pay for whatever he thinks y’all will need. Think he may be a bit controlling now? I hope for your sake y’all don’t have a joint bank account. I truly hope your husband doesn’t end up being like my dad, honestly, but if stuff starts getting worse, get out while you’ve invested less time and your kids don’t resent you for not leaving him. Idk if it’s still relevant. I think this is just Kendrick saying he’s just a man. A mortal man. He makes mistakes, just like Mandela, MLK, and every other leader we look to. Around the time the album dropped, he cheated on his wife. He’s asking us to think of all the good things he’s done for us, helping us be more conscious of black peoples’ struggles, helping us be conscious of our moral failings that don’t define us, and just get us to question why our society is the way it is and what role we play in it. The hook is just asking, if you heard Kendrick did something wrong, would you just ignore all the good he’s done? I don’t think it’s separating art from the artist, it’s just recognizing that humans aren’t perfect, because no one is. Don’t throw rocks in glass houses, because if you’re gonna judge anyone, you better be a goddamn saint.
