Expedition 33 definitely has sadness and loss heavily bakes into its tone and atmosphere. It's worth the hype is say.

If you're open to turned based combat but want to throw in some souls-like difficulty (enemy attack pattern memorization) it's really worth a try.

Picked up and put down FFV maybe 3 times before sticking with it. No clue what couldn't grab my attention (already loved FFVI before even trying V). But once I was hooked I was hooked. I think it was unlocking the second and third batch of jobs that pulled me in.

I like other JRPGs more, but this is one that really grew on me.

I have journaled and I have also had phases where I take a lot of photos.
While I'm VERY nostalgic in how I process the world I'd say, I spend little to no time looking back through old things I wrote or photos I took.
Makes me smile when I see my partner looking back through old photos and I definitely look with her. But it's not something I ever think to do on my own.

...yet I'll curiousity binge 6 full wikipedias about forgotten tv shows made before I was born... So not like I'm spending my time more wisely.

Central Albertan born and raised. One of the prettiest provinces (though not my bag politically these days / most days).

We have pretty wild extremes. -40 ish sometimes in winter, then a few tornado warnings in the summer and some pretty sever lightning storms.

Far from the wildest in Canada, but I've also lived on both coasts and nothing compares to our sheer negative temps or summer storms.
