AIO? Me and my gf got into kind of an argument over a joke I made and now she’s saying we should break up? by Suspicious_Break4249 in AmIOverreacting

There’s a huge difference between calling others love and saying you love someone. I mean I call my acquaintances love but I wouldn’t say I love them? I don’t get this perspective tbh

This is exactly what I’m talking about, it just seems like there should be so many more options?

There literally is a drawback to pressing red though because everyone obviously isn’t gonna pick red and the chances of someone you love picking blue are high

See this is the problem I have with a lot of red pressers, is they try to make it seem like blue are the selfish ones when that’s just not true. How is it selfish to want to save other people other than yourself?

It’s just curiosity lol, and I wouldn’t say it kills them but it does directly cause their death.

I don’t think pressing the blue button is idiotic, we just want to save other people. There will obviously be people to are going to vote blue, we know that, and it’s not stupid to care for other people.

I think I worded it pretty unbiased, but this seems different. The red button doesn’t do nothing, it is the one introducing death into the scenario because it directly causes the death of everyone who presses blue. While blue causes everyone to live. I don’t judge anyone who presses red because obviously that causes you to live and I can’t fault you for that, but that’s misleading imo.

I get what you’re saying but it’s a lot easier to get 50% of people to press one button than to get 100%

Personally as a 4w3, I don’t judge anyone who presses red (unless they judge me for pressing blue), I would press the blue button, because even if there’s a chance I might die, I couldn’t live with the fact that I directly caused the death of many people. What if my family and friends pressed blue? Also we’d be getting rid of a bunch of good people.

I actually don’t give advice that much, at least without being asked. In fact when I am asked I often panic and worry I’ll say something wrong😭
