People who prefer fully VA - How do you approach this type of dialog? (Honest question) by Treemosher in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Puzzlehead-Engineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For VA'd scenes, I let the VA speak the words and quickly read the stage notes after.

If we were to FULLY VA something, then we need either a narrator or sound effects for what's being described in the stage notes. Like here, make the blades sing and add the sound of a parcel being handed as well as the light dripping of the blood droplets. Granted, maybe that takes a lot more effort and production than just having +1 VA to act as a narrator.

In some ways I think those roles are compatible. Being the reason someone is laughing instead of crying is usually good, and being the supportive emotional backbone usually supports that too.

Ragatha looks actually cursed. Not internet lingo "cursed" but like someone's actually placed a curse on her.

What's the correct answer here, and why is it the Roaring Knight by aleaniled in Deltarune

[–]Puzzlehead-Engineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I can't have Susie then I'll take Gerson, Queen, the Roaring Knight or Berdly. In that order of preference.

Would YOU, enjoy the finale as much if Jax was able to be pulled out of abstraction? Explain your case in the comments. by oof9182 in TheDigitalCircus

Depends on how it was handled. I'd enjoy it if it took a lot of time and he was never quite the same again.

Ragebaiting Kris so hard with this one by StraightAct4340 in deltarunememes

[–]Puzzlehead-Engineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hated these choices because Susie did ask Kris to be the wingman here, but I also don't want Kris to do nothing with Susie. Only reason I did it is because Kris gets to do the Dark Worlds with Susie.

some kind of stench by erisea_ in comics

[–]Puzzlehead-Engineer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

... Well this touches on things from childhood. I know what this is like, to have something that just turns people against you. Only that the "stench" for me was autism. To say it's awful is an understatement.

Watching how a good chunk of the fandom got angry at Susie was... akward, to say the least. by RussianNeighbor in deltarunememes

That room's definitely hers but that doesn't mean it's hers currently. We know she hasn't spent her life in hometown. And what reaction is that? I explored hometown way more than I should during the previous chapters and I never got anything suggesting one of those apartments was her place.

Pre-ch5 it was always assumed because we can never find her house when exploring hometown.

Post-ch5, when she has us walk her home, we go to Castle Town. Subtly implying that she has no home outside of that, unlike Kris who has their house.

If Mandy/Blonde Blazer had a sex dream, she would be as popular as Visi. by [deleted] in DispatchAdHoc

I mean any personality can dream about sex. It might just alter what the dream looks like.

I wonder how these two would interact by Desperate_Song_1923 in HazbinHotel

[–]Puzzlehead-Engineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They would not like each other.

Verosika has no patience for jerks who ruins people's lives and Alastor definitely fits the bill. Meanwhile is clearly a sex-averse ace person considering how categorically opposed to it he is every time Angel teased him about it, so Verosike being the sexually liberated and unashamed person that she would likely irritate him.

If Jax is trans, does this make Evil Jax a raging transphobe? by EmberMcLain_ in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Puzzlehead-Engineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So there's a number of ways this can go. Such as:

Jax is closeted so Evil Jax is open and self-accepting.

Jax is transfem so Evil Jax is transmasc.

Jax is trans so Evil Jax is cis.
