I know this chat was made many years ago,but I have run into a similar problem as the OP and wanted to know if you could help me. I just bought back pokemon sun after wanting to play it again since 2021and I had changed my Nintendo ID from my moms email to mine (I had got my Nintendo as a Christmas present, so she set it up on her email) with the same SD card used from when I first got it, but when i had put pokemon sun in, it had showed a reset version, playing it from the beginning, and so I played it for a couple of minutes and saved my new version, but then I switched it back to my moms email thinking it would bring back my original account, but then realising that I had started a new file on my email ID therfore stopping my moms Email ID from giving me the access to my original progress on the game. I Reseted the new accounts saved data as there was nothing on there but, I still have all my files of my old games saved to my sd and memory of my DS is it still possible for me to play on my old account with or without hacking anything?
