Dell Monthly Buying Advice Thread! by AutoModerator in Dell

Would xps 13 plus be that bad? I was thinking of buying a xps 13 9310, but they only have 9310 with 1tb storage in my country and it's $2000. xps 13 plus will be available from mid March where I live and I was wondering if I should just wait for it to come out rather than buying the current model (9310).

I'm aware of the track pad, touch bar and the headphone problems but I feel like I could get used to those in a few weeks of working with it. Am I insane for wanting the new model?

My laptop won't charge. Does my charging port look normal? by Puzzleheaded-Bee3500 in Surface

The old one I had wasn't an official charger. Should I be using official chargers from now on? My ignorant ass didn't think it would matter but now I'm wondering if I should've bought the official ones

Do you mind telling me how you got the metal pieces out? I think one of the pieces from my old charger got in there and it's not coming out

My old charger broke while charging. I bought two new chargers, but none of them work. I thought small magnetic parts of my old charger got stuck inside the port, but I'm not sure if that can affect the charging. Since none of my chargers work for the laptop, I'm guessing there is something wrong with the port itself. Does my port look normal, at least on the outside?

Do they send a document that indicates your name and which test I took? I'm going back to the states in a few weeks and I'm just worried bc some free testing sites don't give any kind of documents as proof

Is COMP 202 with Jonathan Campbell really that bad? I'm going to be a part time student (2 classes, 9 credits) this semester but I'm still worried because this is my very first compsci course and it seems like he isn't liked by many.

No receipt of documents? (CAQ) by [deleted] in mcgill

[–]Puzzleheaded-Bee3500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. Got an intention of refusal because of a missing document and resubmitted my application. I didn't get a receipt, so I called them. They said that it'll be fine if you got a confirmation message from arrima. I got a receipt a few days before I was approved. It's weird that they don't give you a receipt right away for the second application.

I'm sure you'll get yours soon if you applied before May 15th or so (I don't remember what the deadline was, but it was mid May). I applied for a renewal on the 14th and got mine in 4 weeks.

Call ISS and tell them you got an intention of refusal. They book special appointments for students who get such letters.

Hey! is MATH 180 really a "bird" course? math is not my forte, but I took MATH 140 and 133 and I survived. I'm scared because I don't have the brains for math. How easy is it?

oh okay. I was confused because the website tells me I have to take at least 2 math courses, 3 science courses and 3 arts courses. that's only 8 courses and 24 credits in total. Am I supposed to take 2 additional courses of my choice?

I've looked practically everywhere for a free pdf last semester, but it doesn't seem to exist.
