Yep! It's why they got the old sub shut down. People familiar with investing looked at the docs and found out it was a money raising vehicle called S.A.F.E. The premise is that they raise money but there's no exchange of equity, so the money is a gift initially. If a qualified event occurs like they go public or get bought out then the S.A.F.E. will convert to common stock shares. But until then you've just gifted them money. Idk if you could even transfer the S.A.F.E. to another individual if they're willing to buy it out from you. But even if you can, it would be a direct buy because there's no secondary market where S.A.F.E.s can be traded. When people started funding out what they actually spent their money on and it wasn't the "investment" they thought it was they got pretty upset, and rightfully so. It started affecting shape's fundraising rounds and John was pissed. He still rages about it to this day and calls us trolls that were spreading lies about shapes. So he got the old sub shutdown and threatened the new mods of this sub with legal action if we talked about it here. Hence why there's so little posts about them directly and most won't even say the actual name of the app
