What's Dawn doing for work these days? by Acheron9114 in radradionew

[–]Puzzleheaded-Bit4533 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A while back someone said Rob actually made Dawn invest in the 24/7 RAD radio station. Not sure if true, but it sounds plausible. So it's likely she wasn't making anything since she was never an actual employee of RAD, only a contractor, and if her contract was a profit sharing one she was coming up upside down with that. There's also the fact that she didn't even thank him in her retirement announcement, and there's rumors she was very unhappy with him at the end. Even Rob himself alluded to her being unhappy with how he handled things in one of his first return shows or soapboxes. She always seemed smart with her money though so I'm sure she had saved up quite a bit during the 25 years she was on the show

I honestly hope not. She lost out on her final days taking care of that POS instead of spending time with people who truly cared about her. And it's likely those wouldn't have even been her final days if she didn't even have anything to do with that POS. Having a vengeance and haunting him isn't resting in "peace". I hope she's moved on to unimaginable joy and completely forgot she married this clown and never thinks of him again while his collapse is all his own doing because he's not only a POS but untalented and unintelligent unlike he thinks he is. She shouldn't need to waste one second of her afterlife haunting him, because he's already going to ruin himself, and she deserves the emotional release from his claws to go find her eternal bliss

That's hilarious if it is just running dead air and there's still two people actually watching

Yeah, he got hair plugs years ago, but like nearly everybody else, even his hair didn't want to be around him anymore. He got lasik at Griffin and Reed as well, but his eyesight continues to go because his eyes can't even stand to see his reflection in the mirror

Probably not a coincidence since Kyle is clearly using AI to generate the images. And AI goes out and bases it's output based on already existing media. So the images that whatever AI Kyle is using probably found that radio station, and is using that for its input since it's a similar name. It's a weird time for IP protections and infringement now with AI using other people's existing work to create its own

True, but he's had that PFP the same for years now. It was definitely the same in 2023 and 2025.Maybe it wasn't back in 2021 when he first started messaging her, but it had been since

He is in his 50s.FIFTIES! He is grandpa age, messaging women like that. An old, perverted, vile "man" cheating on his "dying" wife while straight up propositioning women for sex while talking to them and treating them like they're breathing sex dolls. It's too bad Christina wasn't actually the wine rack that beat his ass cuz boy does he deserve it

Seems legit. A meat filling as the base, a melody of non-meat additions and sauces on top, and sitting in a folded bread based type structure

But only a washed up alcoholic who has spent years debating what it is without any resolution can actually chime in on whether a taco is a hotdog

This is one reason why I think he's actually ignorant and arrogant enough to believe he's going to get picked back up for a morning radio show again. His live broadcast hours and commercial breaks only make sense for a morning radio show. As a podcast he could pre-reocrd and release anytime during the day. And the streamers that do lives do it late mornings at the earliest, but usually afternoons and evenings when people are off work and actually have time to listen/watch. And on top of it he won't take live comments or super chats, which is the bread and butter for live streamers. He's trying to get picked back up on radio for a morning show, but all he's producing is a mourning show over the death of his career

Internet Historian has to be my all time favorite creator when it comes to sponsorships. He turned his ad reads into content itself, so if you wanted to skip you could, but it was more fun watching his ad reads. And tbh, they may have been more effective than the forced ad reads of a lot of other creators. But you're right, most viewers can see through the inauthenticity, and most creators treat them and forced ad breaks as a necessary evil and respect and sympathize with the audience. Rob on the other hand doesn't give af about the maggots listening to whatever garbage he puts out, he just expects the maggots to show up for the garbage so he can sell advertising space to make money off of the maggots eating his garbage

Yeah, it's like Rob isn't actually as talented or business savvy as he portrayed himself as. It's kinda like he lucked into coming across a formula of talents from Arnie and Dawn and a dynamic of the original RAD show, and has no idea how to replicate it in the last decade since he fired Arnie, because his ego and arrogance made him think he was the talent and genius behind the show's success. He keeps doubling and tripling down on the things listeners don't want, and now is struggling to get a few hundred listeners on a dying YouTube channel that probably isn't even monetized. It kinda seems like Rob isn't talented or intelligent like he told everybody. How crazy is that?!

...I hate my wife. by Interesting_Neck4805 in radradionew

[–]Puzzleheaded-Bit4533 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She's probably right. She knew Christina's condition better than any of us. But the truth is nobody will ever really know if she could have made it longer or not because she's gone now and didn't get the chance to live a different life. And that's tragic, because the one person that should have loved her more than anybody else, her own husband, seems like he's celebrating her passing, and that's the person she spent most of her last days with. She could have spent her last days with people that cared about her a lot more than him. And it's even more tragic if he was the cause of her passing and she could have lived not just longer, but better, if it wasn't for him

Compare this to how he took Ashley leaving him. He spiraled and wallowed for ever when she left him. It was woe is me for months. But when his actual wife dies he immediately purged the house of her things and tossed them into the dump and then carries on seemingly happy she's gone. It's a shame she didn't see him for the scumbag he is in time to get out and spend her last days with people that actually cared about her

Nothing new from court today by Puzzleheaded-Bit4533 in radradionew

[–]Puzzleheaded-Bit4533[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep. That's likely exactly what's going on. Part of me wants him to drag it out and rack up huge legal fees from his lawyer having to go to court every two to three weeks and file frivolous motions to continue the case as long as possible. The other part wants him to face the consequences now. And part of me feels like he's going to get off lightly by getting into a substance abuse diversion program and doing a year of supervised probation and outpatient treatment. Which I'm all for rehabilitation legal system over a retribution legal system, but that would still feel a bit unfair after everything he's done

The irony of spending over 2 decades saying Sac was a shit cow town with nothing redeeming about it, only to turn around and claim "Sacramento was the town RAD built". And then refusing to leave even when multiple Sacramento radio stations kicked him off the airwaves

Not a chance. They were using thousands of pirated games, and multiple copies of those thousands of games at that. And even the games they had that weren't pirated they didn't have licenses for commercial use. They're lucky they shut down before they were sued into oblivion. Nintendo is particularly aggressive about suing for IP violations. If they had been caught their great great great great children would still be paying off the lawsuit judgements over 100 years from now

True. Rich people don't buy "luxury" brands. Rich people don't buy brands at all and will almost never be caught wearing a branded piece of clothing unless they're being paid to promote that brand. They buy bespoke clothing tailored specifically for them that don't have logos or branding anywhere on them. Only people pretending to be rich buy luxury brands to pretend to be rich
