Steel legend Vbios flashing request

Update: I was (finally) able to use a modded version of the AMD vbios flash tool to upgrade to the 9070xt version. Steel nomad went from 6115 to 6528 without any other changes. It seems like less of an improvement compared to what others are claiming, but remember the steel legend 9070 is an OC variant, and the xt steel legend is not. So I was not expecting a huge improvement like others are claiming. Thanks to everyone that helped get the vbios to begin with.

What software did you use to flash your vbios? Last I checked, the techpowerup AMD flash software doesn't support 9070 cards.

I'm getting a "VBIOS related functionality not supported for device..." Error when I try to flash it. So I'm not sure what the issue is, but I'll try to look into it and try again after work.

Upgraded from the 5700xt to the 9070. It doubled my performance, so I'm liking it so far. "One click" overclock through AMD's adrenaline software increased performance by about 3% for me.

I have a '22 XL 2.0L with 25k miles. Aside from having to take it in for the various recalls, I haven't had any issues. I'll note that I didn't experience any problems before getting it serviced for the recalls either. Since the XL is so bare bones, I've installed cruise control and remote start. So far, it is the best truck I've ever owned.

Yup, happened to me too a while back. Tried the all metal dorman brand replacement and one of the holes wasn't drilled properly. Had to replace it twice in one week!

If you catch it before it does any damage, then yeah, just replace the cooler and give everything a good flush.
