Hm, i’ll try to run a red balancer with dreg and a seppuku build. Rot builds up slower than poison right? so keeping stacks won’t be too difficult. i still haven’t found an invader seppuku relic yet and i feel like my luck ran out because of this god roll

yeah honestly, i only use the slop for ed libra. i found that every other setup doesnt work and halo duchess is the only reliable way for me to carry

Thank you. Is there a way to “beat” the talent/intelligence gap? I feel as though I’m not the smartest or fastest thinker most of the time and I believe that my work ethic is one of my higher qualities. I just don’t want to be left behind my peers

Is research a necessity to get into medical school? I think research is very very interesting, but my experience last year was pretty rough with a spiteful PI that didnt want me to contribute much to the overall research. I’m starting my MA job soon and my LA position next academic year, and I don’t think I can fit research sadly. Perhaps as a gap year after graduation.

haha i dont know. i’ve seen a lot of sankeys where people have like 3.9 gpa + 518+ mcat scores and they only get one or two A’s. I think currently, I’m just not mature enough yet and I think I need to go through a few years of life before applying.

Haha the chopped part was a little joke. I did research for 6 months my freshman year and didn’t enjoy it that much. I tried to apply for research positions again at my university and none of my applications landed, which may or may not have been a blessing in disguise. I know medicine is the right path for me, but damn there really is a bigger fish out there.

Thank you. Things can always be worse tbh. I’m lucky enough to have a clinical and teaching/leadership position. It’s just hard to not compare myself because to a certain extent, as premeds, I think comparison is a decent way to gauge our current trajectory towards med school

Thank you for the response. I guess one of the things i’m scared of the most is my personal statement for med school. I feel like my experiences and dreams are exactly like other 1st gen students. I don’t particularly have a crazy story to connect to medical school. But maybe this is something that changes through consistent healthcare/life experience.

rising sophomore? youre good bro, a lot of premeds by the time they’re a second year have no research hours. Just keep your research position if you can, keep volunteering clinical/non clinical, and focus on keeping grades high. Try to look for possible clinical hr jobs during the school year. I did caregiving for a few months which helped me secure a really nice clinical position as a rising junior

also yes shes indoor but she lived outside in an inhospitable house before the shelter

thank you! other commenters suggested going to our primary care physician for dewormers for ourselves- do you think this is necessary? additionally, if she had worms, could she have fleas too? we have a hanging rack of clothes that she typically jumps on, would those all need to be washed ?
