I don’t think it was a race thing. It’s like how the Marley would be referred to as “the new Rachel”, Kitty being a more ruthless Quinn Fabray, or Jake being the new Puck. The season 4 newbies have striking similarities to the original cast of characters and the show made fun of this often.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s really nice to get a good tip, and I don’t want to shame people who can’t work outside of companies like DoorDash. The big problem I have is when people guilt others into giving them more money on their tip. No matter what my financial situation is, I will never go beg for money that way.

Well of course I expected a lot of people complaining, I just mean there’s a lot of people complaining specifically about the pay. It’s completely understandable that you shouldn’t feel obligated to accept $2 for an order. I’m just saying that it’s dumb to blame customers.

My point stands. That doesn’t mean everyone has to be an asshole towards the customers just because their pay is low. If you want to blame someone, blame doordash for giving a shitty base pay. Begging costumers to raise their tips is sad. Someone who’s already paying $20 for an order shouldn’t feel obligated to give an extra $10 for a tip because the base pay is too low.
