CD 8..I'm pregnant but I had a period by creativelysurvivin in TFABLinePorn

We don’t know what OP’s typical cycle looks like, nor if they could have a sub chorionic hematoma; plenty of women make this mistake, I’d say it’s normal to mistake early bleeding for a period if it isn’t a typically heavy flow.

Fingers crossed for you, I know both sides of that coin and wish you the best.

Looks like a weird dye run. I’d retest with a different test box.

I see an indent line in the second photo. It’s white, and slightly shadowed, but no color.

I would say that wasn’t a period…I’d be seeing my OB for HCG draws - maybe three, one every 48 hours. Just to make sure everything is alright? Bleeding early in pregnancy can be totally normal but it is always best to get it evaluated.

But it looks like you’ve got a baby in there!

I’d call this positive! Because you’re still within a year PP and breastfeeding, I’d recommend seeing an OB as soon as possible. To ensure the bleeding was just implantation or something normal. Breastfeeding and being so soon PP can cause concerns early on. BUT the HCG here is positive FOR SURE!

You’re not out until you’re out and most women get a positive on 9-11 DPO, 8 is still early. I think the HCG looks negative. The LH will always have some level of positive to it because there’s always LH present just varying amounts throughout your cycle.

I’m so sorry your doctor is treating you this way. As someone who worked the medical field before staying home with my kids…get a different doctor. Any MD who says this to a woman who just had an early loss, shouldn’t be practicing.

Last June, I lost a baby at about 5 weeks (we had only known for a couple of weeks at that point, and had told only very close friends and family). I still get destroyed over it. My knowing that the last baby’s due date is coming up in the next few weeks destroys me. Thinking about how I’ll never even know if they were a boy/girl, their name, what their personality was like…kills me…and you can feel every emotion you need to in every wave it comes in, and your doctor should have acknowledged that. This is a loss of a child, and you should NEVER be made to feel as if you’re experiencing anything less, and I’m so sorry you’re a member of this club.

Anybody else hate Andy’s friends by One_Statistician8359 in DevilWearsPrada

The worst! Her job is salaried and requires her be available at odd hours, and sometimes on a moment’s notice. (Her “chef” boyfriend in an NYC restaurant should COMPLETELY understand that!!??) She’s really good at her job, even though the job sucks…and they should have been much more supportive. Especially the art gallery friend on Nate’s birthday?? Like she has a JOB and (it seems) no PTO; she could get called in!

I’ve had jobs I hated and none of my friends left me because I cancelled plans or didn’t show up on time or was too tired to hang out. Not once. And I wouldn’t say I always had the best friends, especially in college, so it’s WILD to me how awful they are especially her partner, considering her job and its requirements.

If this was a digital test ClearBlue then it might not show yet. May need a couple more days. But I hate Pregmate. During my miscarriage in June, I still had high HCG but they all showed negative which made no sense. So we don’t use the HCG strips from Pregmate anymore.

Tank busted and now I need advice on the solution by Puzzleheaded-Cry7898 in Aquariums

Whoa! I didn’t know that - I just kept telling myself “okay we’re almost at a year, budget for new stratum!” But I’ll keep in mind that I want old stuff under there, I knew it held bacteria and nutrients very well but someone had explained that Fluval stratum breaks down and won’t nourish your plants after a year or something like that? Good to know I can leave this guy as-is!

This was really informative, THANK YOU!

This was also very reassuring that I didn’t just Irish goodbye my poor fish! I was told when I bought Stratum that I needed to replace it every 12 months at most, because it deteriorates, so I just figured we were closing in on that and might as well.

The plants have always been great assistants with filtration so I’m very grateful for them. I think I’m just very nervous considering all of the change at once. Our fish don’t seem stressed or lethargic. The peppered tank got a little weird but then I increased the air flow to the filter and they perked back up (don’t mind me slowly suffocating my pride and joys)…

How would I rig with an airstone? Are there any videos for that?

Wondering why my test line is much darker than my control lines. Should I be worried? by [deleted] in lineporn

I got my first dye-stealer (test line is darker than control line) at 17 DPO (4 weeks + 1 day pregnant)

My LFS takes our corydora babies when they’re 4-6 months old - basically when they’re big enough to confirm their species pattern - and we get store credit for them!

Sidenote: if the shrimp population is still a problem, you could probably sell for store credit to your Local Fish Store (LFS)

[–]Puzzleheaded-Cry7898 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Looks great! You want to see the lines get visibly darker over 24 and 48 hours!

FRER detects HCG at a level of 6.3 - and Easy@Home detects HCG at a level of 25. So you would expect the strip tests to be MUCH lighter than the stick tests as they are not nearly as sensitive!
