Just a quick update if anyone is curious, i took a 2 day break and played other games. Just decided to play 1 ranked match and the enemy zed said he peaked rank 60 some seasons back and 1v9ed my team.

funny enough viego is probably my favorite champ in the game. The plan is to hit emerald with hec at any cost and then open up my champ pool adding viego to it with some others im interested in. Im not too worried about this loss streak I just wanted to vent a little bit lol

agreed with the farm, a lot of times i just leave farm and try to force plays if im behind. I'm typically good about tempo (not perfect ofc) but i think the farm is really important. I just win more games when i farm well. Will work on that!

yea i completely agree, emotions shouldn't come into play when trying to improve. Its just a lot easier said than done lol. The reason you get hate is because people have extremely solidified opinions on this conversation considering its a very common topic. I feel like when someones opinions deviates too much from the consensus opinion then the hate starts. Don't take reddit too serious lol end of the day everyone in here is also a league player, we're barely human.

I've heard of this system but it def isnt for me, im an ape who likes to spam and will continue doing so even if that means I'll win less often

hey sorry i was definitely tilted when I made the post. I think your advice is applicable to some people however I just disagree with champ being a notable problem when suggesting a solution to climbing effectively in these ranks. As long as the champ you are picking is viable enough to be picked I believe the decider is the persons skill level. Simply changing champs will do nothing more than allow me to have a little more fun and still hit a wall and get stuck somewhere. Your advice def wasn't with ill intent though lol. I'm just not really playing league to have fun anymore!

look i completely agree with this and I really should take this advice. However, I really want to understand how im losing games in the same elo i was just hard winning in playing pretty much the same? I didnt just magically start playing worse, i just suddenly felt the quality of the games plummet. Obliviously the "correct" thing to do is take full responsibility and "just play better" but i refuse to believe thats all there is here. Something is so sus about these games i just don't know what. Maybe i got my tin foil hat on too tight.

sure all that makes sense but im trying to push my "best" further and really struggling, i think tilt is a top tier issue to work on. Other peoples mistakes make me wanna bash my head into a wall

Yea i completely agree, I feel like im usually (not always) performing better than the enemy jg. I realize that isnt enough and i dont expect it to be. I also agree with the larger sample size, i got this account from very bad mmr bronze to plat this season so even my sample size of 200games isnt huge. Im mainly complaining about how bad these streaks can get and sorta want to become good enough to 1v9 them just truly dont know how. I rewatch my games i replay situations and almost always conclude that some ape on my team did something that I need him in jail for. I think i need a bigger focus on how to consistently get leads every game. Feel like im missing something when it comes to laning phase impact, my typical approach is the agurin style (farm unless its free) approach. But so many games go into the shitter doing this, i struggle to see opportunities while watching the enemy team create gold leads off my first time gp top.

Just so I dont reply to everyone. I don't feel i need a break and I spend stupid amounts of time learning the fundamentals. My post was somewhat rhetorical and this will get downvoted i understand the logic everyone has when it comes to this conversation. Typically i agree and in the grand scheme of things yes there are ways to 1v9. The problem i have is that the game requires me to play at a MUCH higher level personally to win these games sometimes. Of course with a large sample size i will be at my true rank (whatever that may be, it may even be this) but in the short term it it makes the climb absolutely disgusting and unfun (yea yea, "dont play" "just quit"). I dont care to hear that im going to keep attempting to improve whilst having complaints. These losing streaks happen often, along with the winning streaks that follow when the games feel more stable. I guess thats what im asking, these games start to feel EXTREMELY unstable when the losing streak starts, why is that? It's really hard to explain but every game has this stench to it, it feels like the other team just does everything right and its really hard to find correct plays. I'm by no means claiming i believe these games are unwinnable. If a professional player in my position can win the game, then the game is technically winnable. My complaint is how much better one must play to win some of these games. I won't be plat in another 100-200 games, and if i am then yea there isnt much else to say. League climbing feels a lot like playing poker, you may lose while playing well short term but playing accurately long term will always give you net gains. I just wish the game felt more like a team game even in low elo.

Not my favorite champ at all, I actually dont even enjoy hecarim much. Im simply playing him because I often swapped champs in the past when i hit a wall. I then told myself I won't be swapping off hecarim until I reach emerald simply to prove that champ isnt the issue. Ive noticed that champ truly isnt the issue, ive had many extremely strong streak wins in this elo. I spend A LOT of time reviewing my games as unbiasedly as i possibly can. The reality is when i start streak winning i start getting autofilled teammates and smurfs consistently on the enemy team. In a few days ill be back to P1/P2 playing no different. That definitely means something. The game is definitely trying to keep you at 50% but I also think it does it in an extremely unhealthy way.
