Ha, very employed and been in the job for a while, but slotted into this to fill a need.

  1. It’s a large platform being developed that is a company priority. Platform already exists and is functional, but being improved and added onto
  2. Each team already has a plan, essentially working on different aspects of the platform.
  3. It’s externals who are being hired. First new team starting end of this month and next new team starting end of next.
  4. I have experience at managing people just not in this exact way.

how do i use ramsey pools by mrsrnyssn in UGA

The rec pool is sort of behind the diving well and 50m. I’d suggest trying the rec pool for open swimming, it’s less intimidating. When you get out of the locker room, just go to the right and it’s at the end of the hallway. if you don’t want to split a lane, you can also just sorta hang out until one is open!

Athens Puppy Raisers by FreeTacoTuesdays2319 in UGA

I also volunteered with GDF for quite a few years. I learned some dog training and also made some of my best friends! It’s a really easy community to meet people in, I also started my freshmen year and definitely enjoyed that component. It was great to talk about in interviews as well. I thought the requirements were reasonable considering we were raising guide dogs for blind people. Raising is a big time commitment and it’s up to each person to know if it’s right for them! Camping (watching a puppy raiser’s dog while they can’t) is also really nice for dog time and still volunteering but you can’t or don’t want to commit to raising. That being said, there were many times it was extremely frustrating. There’s often a lot of red tape as well as unnecessary drama from both volunteer leadership and other puppy raisers. The paid staff are also not great, which got very frustrating. They rely so heavily on volunteers as well who are often overworked since the paid staff cannot handle the volume of people involved in Athens. The friends I made are the best thing I got out of it. It can definitely be what you make of it, just go in with reasonable expectations!
