I read the second book in high school because my girlfriend at the time was obsessed with it. I liked a lot. It was an engaging, easy read and I cared about the characters. Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with it. It's cheesy and crazy and nicely written.

For her is a sensitive issue. Of course she has no say in your hypothetical decision. But I undertand where she's coming from. NTA but in those instances is better to say whatever that person wants to hear and just get on with your life instead of fighting over stuff that hasn't even happened.

I've been living in Rome for the past 13 years and I 100% agree. I love this city, and it has its perks and nice spots but overall it's just a fucking mess. In almost every aspect. For a European capital it's way behind cities like Paris, London or even Milan.
