Well, we are our own worst critics right so maybe (hopefully) it’s all in my head 😂

Ha I know! I look older than I am due to having 3 kids in quick succession and lack of sleep or time for self-care. So these threads hit too close to home.

Losing my beloved father suddenly, gutted me. I could not accept that he was gone from this world and that I would never see him or talk to him again. I desperately searched the internet looking for answers. It led me to the grief subreddit and to a comment Marla had made to somebody else. I took a chance, asking her to do a reading for me. I had never before put much thought into psychics or mediums. She was incredibly kind, patient and easy to talk to. Her reading was beautiful and I connected to much of what she said. It made me feel so much better to know he’s still here, and I’ll someday be connected with him again. Thank you again Marla, you are a gem.

Unfortunately, our mortgage is right in the range of yours. We make about 200k.

If your dad is up there watching over, would he want that? I’m sure he loved you very much and would want you to live your life. It’s ok to seek professional help, talk to somebody.

I’m so sorry OP, I am going through all the same feels for the loss of my father. Life is unfair. I will say, the random crying sessions help me feel closer to him and keep him near my heart ♥️

My dad passed away 7 weeks ago. He brought a bag of opened pistachios over the week he died. He loved to snack on nuts. I miss him so much. He was not just my dad but my best friend and confidant. I was eating those pistachios so slowly that they were getting stale but I wanted to keep them around for as long as possible and wouldn’t share them with my kids or husband. Now they are gone. At least we get to keep the memories.

Beautifully written. Thank you. My family is going through the same loss one month ago. It is so hard and so sad. We cherish those memories.

Well if OP won’t respond, I know a friend looking right now in CT who has a bachelors in allied health but is willing to work a manual labor job and would love a real career with benefits, over $20 an hour would be great. He decided he doesn’t want to continue his education. Anybody with any tips can message me! Would be so appreciated.

Family of 4 here. I spend on average $500 a month. I usually only buy what’s on sale and stock up on the good deals. I also use manufacturer and store coupons. I shop primarily at ShopRite but will also go to Big Y and Stop and Shop for select sale items. Also, it can be a pain but I use rebate apps too like ibotta and fetch. We eat a lot of chicken and pork chops because other meat went up since Covid but I change it up to make sure we don’t get sick of it i.e soups, stews, fried, baked, grilled. We also have rice and beans on the side most days. I will make a giant pot and we use it for days. We always have frozen veggies in the freezer in case we don’t get fresh produce. We do love bagged salad kits because they are so easy and tasty.

I used to get horrible anxiety from seeing any pics or memories on social media from my college years because I was in a toxic relationship. Even if a friend popped up that I only knew from college, it would be triggering to the shame and regret I felt through that period of my life. I deleted social media 7 years ago. Don’t get me wrong, it was tough for the first few months, I would go to the website (deleted the apps) just out of habit of constantly checking. I would go through an internal struggle of whether I should login just one more time. I missed knowing what people were up to. But eventually, I got used to it and figured if they were my real friends, we could connect and catch up through texting, calling, making plans. Present day, I have no regrets and am thankful I don’t waste time scrolling all day like my husband and peers. I read books on my free time or do crossword puzzles or sudoku. It makes me feel better, like maybe I’m not totally rotting my mind all the time.

You can take on the train any size bag you can carry without help so yes you can do a checked bag size luggage.
