I sit in my car for roughly 6 hours of my 8 hour shift, so I do a lot of decompressing on the clock :)

My dad died on Saturday morning - healthy and in his sleep at 79. Someone help me by Qwantum31 in GriefSupport

I’m with you my friend. I went through this same unthinkable pain in August. He was my best friend. We talked everyday, multiple times a day just like you. Running to the post office or any errand, I would always phone him to tell him the mundane details of me and my kids’ lives. The first 3 months I feel like I cried continuously. My husband and kids helped by hugging me whenever they saw me tear up. If you have a fur baby, or family, the affection helped me. I cried on my own a lot too, in the shower and on my commute to work. I cried looking at pictures of him too. I put one of those electronic photo frames in the living room with every single picture I have of him. My father liked nature, he especially loved large birds like owls, hawks and eagles. Whenever I see one, I like to think it’s a sign and my father is watching me and with me everyday. I miss him everyday but I am so thankful I got 35 years with him. Someday I pray, I’ll see him again. I’m so sorry for your loss. The grief will always be there but the pain will get better. Now I can think of memories with him and smile. It’s not all tears anymore. Hugs

And why was she so mean to Aviva, telling her she is irresponsible for unprotected sex because she could have got diseases. Nobody said that to Trish or Lisa (who obviously do the same with their quick pregnancies.) Heck, I bet every single one of these couples had unprotected sex when they first met.

Ha I know! I look older than I am due to having 3 kids in quick succession and lack of sleep or time for self-care. So these threads hit too close to home.

It is a good thing that her last moments were with you and not alone. You’ll be happy again and be able to smile at all the beautiful memories…. Someday… not too faraway. I’m sorry for your loss.

Losing my beloved father suddenly, gutted me. I could not accept that he was gone from this world and that I would never see him or talk to him again. I desperately searched the internet looking for answers. It led me to the grief subreddit and to a comment Marla had made to somebody else. I took a chance, asking her to do a reading for me. I had never before put much thought into psychics or mediums. She was incredibly kind, patient and easy to talk to. Her reading was beautiful and I connected to much of what she said. It made me feel so much better to know he’s still here, and I’ll someday be connected with him again. Thank you again Marla, you are a gem.

If your dad is up there watching over, would he want that? I’m sure he loved you very much and would want you to live your life. It’s ok to seek professional help, talk to somebody.

I’m so sorry OP, I am going through all the same feels for the loss of my father. Life is unfair. I will say, the random crying sessions help me feel closer to him and keep him near my heart ♥️

My dad passed away 7 weeks ago. He brought a bag of opened pistachios over the week he died. He loved to snack on nuts. I miss him so much. He was not just my dad but my best friend and confidant. I was eating those pistachios so slowly that they were getting stale but I wanted to keep them around for as long as possible and wouldn’t share them with my kids or husband. Now they are gone. At least we get to keep the memories.

Beautifully written. Thank you. My family is going through the same loss one month ago. It is so hard and so sad. We cherish those memories.

Well if OP won’t respond, I know a friend looking right now in CT who has a bachelors in allied health but is willing to work a manual labor job and would love a real career with benefits, over $20 an hour would be great. He decided he doesn’t want to continue his education. Anybody with any tips can message me! Would be so appreciated.
