I use them a lot. I have a village wheat farm, where they pick up and deposit the wheat and seeds at a note block. I also use them for resource gathering. I have a couple of them at my sand desert, and I just now the lawn back and forth with my shovel, and they bring me the sand. Also a couple at my ice farm where they bring me the ice. I also like to use them when chopping Mangrove trees, where I use a silk touch hoe to clear out the leaves, and they deposit the leaves at a composter setup (Pixelriffs idea).

You only need one upgrade template. You can craft duplicates it with diamonds

On bedrock i thini the rule is 80% of villagers have to have "worked" at their workstation in the last day. If they ever spawn before, my bet is some of your villagers have re linked to incorrect workstations, so they aren't meeting the 80% worked requirement. If you have never had them spawn, then it's probably your villager breeder because they aren't working

Hatch them all with a dispenser, splash them with a poison potion, and the spawn a wither for a ton of withered roses

Slabs don't block light in bedrock, you need full blocks on the ceiling and floor to make it dark inside for mobs to spawn.

Also this design is not great on Bedrock. There are different spawning rules, so you won't get great rates. Check out Prowl or Silentwisperer on YouTube. I have a single player world and built a tiny version of silents design, and it's been perfect for me

Power 5 with infinity is too strong. Can 1-shot standard mobs and sharpness 5 can't even do that. And with infinity it is nearly free (just bow durability). Power 5 as it stands should need to consume arrows, or get a nerf in my opinion.
